Goodness me, conversations about what to wear?
Have I mistakenly logged onto the 'Loose Women' forum?
*goes off to search whether there is actually a 'Loose Women' forum.

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull
This cup final I shall mostly be wearing my sh*t clothes as I fully expect them to be covered in beer win or lose.
Have to admit this thread is starting to get a bit surreal, btw the spats and womens' hour I can't wait for this game to be over and done with.

If anyone sees two depressed tramp-looking fellas on Saturday afternoon it's probably remigardeshair and topgoon wishing they put more thought into what they were going to wear
And anyone who thinks that what clothes are worn at a cup final aren't important, try telling that to any of our 1927 cup final runners-up who lost to Cardiff thanks to the ball slipping under Dan Lewis' shiny new keeper's shirt. And while you're at it if you find any shake their hand on living well past 100.

You must be joking, I'm wearing the same clothes I wore to the semi even down to my lucky undies. None of it washed.nut flush gooner wrote:Ok point taken, you can wear what you want. Arsene doesn't do tactics so we need all the help we can get.
Mrs TG can't believe I've kept all the gear I wore last time all neatly tucked away ready to be worn again.
Believe me, beer smell will be an improvement. It also means the only action I'll be getting on Saturday night will be from Cork Barry's thread on Cannons

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull
1970s retro shirt, Arsenal sports socks my wife bought me on a trip to England and to top it off a small yellow ribbon on my shirt. This was sent to me thoughtfully by my sister in law (who runs a business in accessories) after I explained the significance of the Yellow Ribbon to Arsenal in FA Cup Finals. The ribbon will be held in place by a 1930s retro AFC crest badge. Will be watching at home on my own but it is all about ritual...

not sure whether to wear a coat? its warm when the suns out but i don't want to be cold later in the evening?
Also what shoes to wear? something comfortable for sure, but i like to dress smart for big occasions
I have a lucky arsenal shirt but if we lose then i can never wear it again
this is a fucking minefield, fuck this i aint going anymore

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull
It will be an Arsenal home shirt for me, but big decision around whether to wear a t-shirt underneath it as this might mean I can get away with wearing it again on the Sunday.
A coat of course is out of the question, regardless of the weather! But that does mean that I'll need to decant credit & debit card plus notes & small amount of lose change into my jeans as I find that a full wallet distorts the pocket.

2. Always wear your 'fighting shoes' to a footie game, (hidden steel toe caps) Just in case!
3. You HAVE TO wear your lucky shirt otherwise it will lose it's Magic Power - Just ask Voldemort - he had potter on the run till he left his face stoke city shirt back at the dungeon.

4. And so it should be - this is the first "Pwaper Fina" final we've been in since Paddy made rednose *word censored* & the mancscum look like mugs
Now then. Forget about clothes and start thinking about your alcohol consumption plan.

ps: 5. If in any doubts as to FA Cup Final Day Clobber - Just do a Fwank and wear a Brown Velvet Tracksuit (with co-ordinating Loafers of course!)

SORTTTED!

Don't forget to iron a crease into your jeans, nothing worse than a scruffy gooner.
