Of course nobody wants us to win. This 9 year drought is a stick to beat Arsenal fans with, about time we got this fucking monkey of our backs.

I'm pretty sure there's a Hull City one kicking around but that doesn't fit in with the theme of the week from which is that, oh we think we've won it already,we just have to turn up.

That drum is getting very f**king boring, so time someone stopped banging it.
This is asking for trouble ffs. We will be a laughing stock if we don't win
No it's not, there is a scummy yellow and black one in dingy Humberside, just these f**kers don't have any rival fans with smartphones hanging around outside a bus garage.

We haven't won sh*t in nearly 10yrs, we pay the most expensive season ticket prices in World sport only to collapse every March, our medical team has skills that make Dr Shipman look like Florence Nightingale, We get stripped bare of all our decent players who all have won more trophies since they left us, our manager can't even put on a f**king coat properly and yet you think a bus in a garage is what will make us a laughing stock  :rubchin:
In 1987 at WHL they where giving out info on how spurs fans could book tickets for the littlewoods cup at half time. In the FA cup semi at wembley, 1991 it is alleged before the game that the Arsenal team where singing songs implying they where going to walk it. Football has a nasty habit of biting you in the bum, lets not make this any harder than it needs to be. This sort of stuff flies onto the back pages of the gutter press.

Saw an article from Alan Smith (think it was from before the 2001 semi) and he mentioned about Gascoigne referring to Arsenal players having been sized up for their jackets or something similar before the 1991 final. He said it was completely untrue but obviously the Scum believed it.

If it's real it's fucking careless but I don't think the Hull players will garner much motivation from it, Bruce will have been drilling them for weeks about how we think we've got it won and everyone expects us to walk it.

So what were they supposed to do? Wait until the outcome of the final and then start painting/stickering up a bus all through the night ready for the potential parade at 12 the next day?

Exactly... Anyone who thinks that those (and there are many) who find it easy to say now that they want Arsenal to win (because they like our style of football, our sensible financial approach etc...) will still be only too delighted if we lose!

Lets be honest. If this wasn't us, it would be hilarious.

I've seen us lose many games in the past where we were heavily tipped to win. Swindon (the 3-4 in the 80's, not the league cup final...) & York, the finals against Ipswich, West Ham, Luton, Birmingam to name but a few. The common thread was that they were games where we played badly i.e. we beat ourselves. If we go out there on Saturday in the right frame of mind and we play to 80% of our ability then we will win. If it's 90-100% then we might even win comfortably...!

All the talk of parades etc might work to our advantage. Maybe Hull will expect us to be complacent. We need to show a real hunger and use the pain of the last 9 years to our advantage!

Rather Bould did the team talk, Arsene can sit in the corner fiddling with that coat if his and no that is not a euphemism.
