FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As I think someone pointed out before, this could be the first trophy of the cyber age of supporting The Arsenal. If we win, there will be tons of images, videos and stories that we'll all come across that we wouldn't have necessarily seen in years gone by.

I'd still back that miserable fucker Augie to come on here and moan about something, though!

P.S. I hope every Gooner, no matter where they are, has a fucking brilliant day. I'll be looking for some fellow ex-pats to get hammered with in NYC if anyone's about!

:rubchin: Not the best start to the day with someone taking the misses handbag which looks the same as hers, but doesnt have her mobile in. Was a large group of trustworthy people so expect it will return once their hangover eases and they actually hear her phone ringing in "their" handbag

However, have an absolutely brilliant day to all those Gooners going to the match, Just cant wait, all on edge, the misses still thinks Im on edge over her handbag.

Hope we give Hull a Bloody BIG Handbagging today COYG COYG

My first thought was its CUP FINAL DAY!

Same as me when I woke up earlier and tbh that surprised me - in the build up I havent been as excited as I used to be (partially cos I havent been able to seperate it from the knowledge that winning it will secure wenker's future at the club but also cos I am expecting an easy win) but when you wake up on cup final morning it does give you an enormous shot of adrenilin straight away 8)

Used to love the bbc build up to the game where they used to go to both teams hotels and then show tv coverage of their coach journey to the stadium as well as interviewing celeb fans of both sides - as much money and coverage that sky have thrown at english football, they have never captured the atmosphere and build up like the bbc on cup final day. Does anybody know if any of the stations are giving that type of build up today ?

Doesn't look like it :(

Perhaps modern football has left me behind, but why do so many 'fans' these days view the FA Cup as worthless? The final has and always will be a special occasion for me and my family 8)

BT Sport have been doing a great job, to be honest. Have been live there since 11.30am and has been a great show live from Wembley.

I'm watching it with my 9 year old son (his first proper cup final) so I wasn't going to drink, but fuck me I'm rattled with nerves! Wasn't this rattled before the CL final even!!

Come on Arsenal!! :barscarf:

Hope you all have a great day and stay safe and we win this amazing competition! FUCKING LOVE THE FA CUP!! GOONERS!! 8)

Same here - I think that the champs league final was a new experience for us and we were delighted to be there and expected more of the same in the coming years, but now after the trophyless spell this game is of much bigger importance and will lead to huge consequences whichever way the result goes

Will be watching it with my sons at home too - they would be gutted if I went elsewhere to watch the game (especially my eldest) but truth be told, they would prefer the 3 of us go to the pub to watch it

Snap DB, me and my nine year old in front of the TV for our first real cup final together, I carried him around the room in my arms in 05 during the penalty shoutout, when paddy scored I said to him that this trophy would be the first of many  , I need this win as badly as the club does, hard to keep them interested if we continue with our recent history of being grade a bottle jobs.......come on you gooners
