I don't want to be negative, so im not going to mention Wenger. I think the players deserve credit for today, they stuck at it when things were going against them, especially a prick of a referee, who seemed intent on ignoring blatantly obvious penalty decisions. As a fan it means everything to see the club finally amongst the trophies again, and hopefully this starts a winning period for the club. proud to be a gooner tonight.

Just got back from a night on the piss with my mates, and have had a pretty good night.

Yes, we were shite during vital parts of that game, but I have to say it was very touching to see the team lift a trophy. I hope that this inspires the board/manager to buy some genuine quality in the summer.

Steve Bruces post match interview was total toilet have to say, utterly utterly ungracious. Hes learnt from Ferguscum thats for sure and his face is getting redder than Ferguscums nose. I did wonder but realise its not from overdoing it in The Phil Browns suntan stand which is round the back of their stadium, but could have more to do with Quaffing claret.

He felt both our goals shouldnt have counted. Completely ignored TWO blatent penalties against Santi who isnt a diver, as well as the free kick foreward movement which nearly came as far as the goal line.

He also ignored the fact that their pressing game that we knew would be coming petered out till the last 3 minutes and if he had been able to continue with that he would have won.

If they had playing Liverpool instead of us, they'd have had at least 2 penalties given against them. I usually don't mind Bruce and he's normally quite complimentary towards Arsenal so I think he was just fucking gutted and can't blame him really.
