FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Slightly disrespectful there mate.
Was being ironic, based on the stereotypes mentioned in his post...

Don't think winning the cup will really sink in for a while. One thing I will remember from the final whistle was my 22 year old son crying his eyes out. Our first cup final together and a special moment for me knowing that Arsenal means as much to him as it has always done for me.
Having been to the semi and the final it felt like there were almost as many Gooners there for both games. We were in what was supposed to be a neutral area Block 127 but was 100% Arsenal. We had to get our tickets changed on the day as it seemed they were originally Hull end tickets. Strange.

What a weekend.

Had a nice Sunday evening drinking a bottle of champagne in the garden : it was nicely chilled as it had been in the fridge for 9 years!

Block 131 was so good, everyone was 100% supportive and vocal, even at 2 nil down we just got behind the team. When we actually won I had tears in my eyes, I was drained emotionally and then it was party time. So many high 5's, hugs and love between total strangers sharing in that moment which we all love footbal for.

Such an addictive feeling, I don't want to be waiting 9yrs again for that.

Winning the FA Cup is a massive massive deal for us, especially with the trophy drought but under any circumstances. So seeing hundreds (if not thousands of people) wearing a t-shirt that on the back had FA Cup Winners 2014 at the top and in the bottom half "Euro Champions League Qualification 2014" above "Mind that gap Tottenham" pissed me off.
Those shirts were absolutely horrid. Even putting aside the content, the layout was cluttered and there were too many different fonts.

I was in Block 123 which was just on the Arsenal side of halfway in the lower tier so was surely designated 'neutral'. Going in there it was actually signed as 'Arsenal FC' end everywhere and the internal partition in the concourse was next to it (I.e. You could walk the entire way round the Arsenal section from there). It was literally 100pc Gooners as far as I'm aware so a bit confused.
