Victory parade
Re: Victory parade
It looked fantastic and a great idea to use the stadium area, rather than the cramped town hall for the team to display the trophy. Would've been fantastic for the those who've not experienced this before...imagine what it would be like for the champions league...i would get my arse down to london for that one.

If I see us win the CL one day I'll die a happy man. With Rambo in our team we might do it, why not?Nos89 wrote:It looked fantastic and a great idea to use the stadium area, rather than the cramped town hall for the team to display the trophy. Re: Victory parade
Was at Highbury corner then got one last drink in a pub further up St Paul's Rd.
We got to see the bus one more time in the beer garden. They were making their way back to the ground and I'm sure it must have been going at 50+ miles an hour

Re: Victory parade
This was the first final I've missed since 1993, the coca cola cup and Andy Linighan sending us into euphoria. I have recently moved to Spain with work and couldn't get a ticket for love nor money. I resided to watching it in Gibtraltar where I work with the Gib Gooners club, and I must say they put on a fantastic show! Some were Spanish, some Londoners like me who were ST holders before as well. Dressed the whole place up and all had a good drink watching the drama unfold. Celebrations at the final whistle were great! It was a fantastic day. Woke up yesterday and again watched the whole parade live. Have watched back bits of the parade about 20 times now I think, I loved every minute! Been full of emotion and relief after the past 9 years of bad luck, bad policies and everything in between! Gutted I wasn't there but at the same time great to experience it all in a new way. So hope we don't sit on this and go get some recruits and build on this feeling and want for more success. Best weekend in years!

Here's a vid from the armoury, enjoy. Just brings a big smile to my facing re-living all the stuff on youtube from this weekend.

Re: Victory parade
Watched th '05 and '06 finals in World's End FP so missed out on attending parades (for differing reasons
). No longer live in London but it was fantastic just to watch us finally show off some silverware.
Cherish the memory as we might not get too many more.
