FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Exactly, comments like those quoted on here previously were not an expression of political frustration and even if they had been it's not the right context. Pure racism, intolerance and bigotry.

I know every fan base has fuckwits and we have morons who think the gas chamber hissing is funny (although I haven't encountered it myself). But whilst I'm under no illusions that our fans are all whiter than white we can generally be very proud of the way in which we conduct ourselves.

I dont think you can take anything on the internet that seriously. It was only a month ago that the #killallmen went viral.

The problem is when you do it so quickly there isn't enought time for change to occur organically. That is why I am voting UKIP. We need to slow it the fuck down, take a breather and try to develope communities again.
Voting for UKIP in the EU elections is a pointless move as they don't turn up and vote on anything - having them as our MEPs leaves our country unable to influence anything that goes through the European Parliament - which they want so they can claim that the EU is undemocratic (it's not, they are just skipping their roles and claiming the money, which is making it worthless for us, if we had people who would actually vote then it wouldn't be) and they've no coherent policies beyond the EU, homophobia and spending and voting them is asking for trouble.

Their policies are based on idealisms, not realisms. They want lower taxes but more police on the streets, improved roads. Fair enough- but where's that money going to come from?

It's too late now for the Euro Elections but if people really wanted a referendum on Europe then Tory the way to go.

Is that a cast iron guarentee?

Nobody is voting UKIP for their policies, they are voting for a referendum. Its that simple. The Tories are just globalists who have sucummed to Leftism. Yep, they are social democrats no different really to Labour. The truth is the country is completely and utterly broke and this recovery is a farce.

I 100% agree with you on Labour and the Tories being practically identical.

But yeah it is a near enough cast iron guarantee. They wanted to pass the EU Referendum Bill that would've enshrined a referendum 100% occurring in 2017 but Labour and Lib Dem Lords rejected it in the House of Lords...

The EU will always just be a waste of money if we're electing UKIP MEPs who do fuck all in representing us and claiming their 90k salaries and massive allowances.

If people really want a referendum by the end of this decade then Tory is the way to go sadly. Voting UKIP will only just take votes off the Conservatives and result in Labour getting into power, which I don't mind that much if only they gave the electorate a referendum choice, having a less expansive foreign policy and replacing Ed Miliband with someone of more competence.

Perhaps mentioned on the main thread, but it was very funny too see four or five rows of neutral shirts amongst the sea of black and amber Hull shirts on Saturday.

Brilliant too how as our goals went in, the gooners nodding/winking and hand shaking increased as the match progressed.

Unbelievable day
