The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

The Scum must now have a reputation for having unrealistic expectations and sacking their managers at the first sign of a problem, so I don't think they'll be high up the list of any decent manager.

Was song delusional/arrogant enough to actually believe he'd be a starter for Barcelona?

I mean, it's all well and good having confidence in yourself but he had to contend with Busquests, Thiago, Fabregas, Iniesta, and Xavi... He's lucky to even make it off the bench.

Anyway, I almost want to say it'd be hilarious if he ended up at Tottenham after thinking the grass greener at Barca, but nobody deserves that.

That c*nt def does - he was the most limited pile of shite midfielder we have had since the luggage thief back in the early '90s and it is only because of the adulation of the sky era Gooners, that he wasnt aware of how shite he really is :x
I almost went into a massive wankathon the day that we sold him to barca - I would have paid some club to take him and yet we got barca to pay £15m for him ?? That my friends is the real definition of fantasy dreams coming true 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Yeah - As much as most of us have issues with Wenger, some of his transfer outgoings have been pretty genius. This one must rank quite high on the list. Greedybayor and Toure were also good ones. I am going to stick my neck out and say that when all is said and done RVP to Utd will also be viewed as good business - £24 million for one season followed by injuries sounds familiar :-)

i'd rate song up there with denilson and eboue in terms of quality.

he made sooo many mistakes and would just bumble away from one with that gormless confused look on his face whilst picking his nose.

i still can't believe Barca took him, let alone paid a fee. 15million is laughable.

Quite possibly one of the worst midfielders I've ever seen playing for a top 5 club in any league: literally the only thing he did was make lateral passes - had nothing about him at all.

At least Song was a physical presence who could get stuck in and register assists.

One of the biggest regrets of my life is getting "Denilson" on the back of our 07/08 white away kit - what a beautiful shirt, completely wasted. I have too much dignity to ever wear his name in public.

I'll be honest I'm very glad he's succeeded. If Spurs had sold him for that much money and he'd flopped we'd never hear the end of it.

Bet some deluded spud reckons they have partially win the champions league due to their "special relationship" with Real - selling them Modric and Bale

The best thing about the Bale sale is that they received 90 million and wasted it .

That's comedy you can't buy.

To muddy the waters some more, it's being reported n the Netherlands, that Frank De Boer has resigned from the Ajax. Could be off to Monaco or Milan also but just makes you wonder :rubchin:
