Yep the latest visionary to fall flat on his arse. Maybe if Sherwood had left him with a club going in the right direction, a familiar, useful and successful squad with a conveyor belt of quality youth talent and a small fortune to spend in the summer window like when he followed Adkins he would succeed.

Thankfully he will instead inherit a mismatched squad that is despite substantial investment desperately short on real quality and the burden of unrealistic demands from their fans. Who will they be appointing this time next year?

I don't give a fcuk how good a manager or player is, if the c*nt cant speak passable English to the media within 6 months of moving to England then he should be fcuked out of the league on the spot :x If the fcukers cant show enough respect to the country that is paying them a kings ransom in wages then they are no benefit to the game

I do find it shocking that he can't speak English. I read an interesting article about how all PL clubs have at least one liaison officer whose sole job it is to help foreign players to settle in, and understandably putting them on intensive English lessons is one of the first things they do.

It would be one thing if he used an interpreter to translate the questions into Spanish and then answered in English to avoid being tripped up etc. But I saw him give an interview a few weeks ago and he needs both the questions and answers translated. I'm not crying about it from an "if he wants to live in our country....." point of view or whatever, it just strikes me as monumentally unprofessional for such a highly-paid individual whose job revolves around communicating with his players and involves extensive media duties to apparently have no English.

1. How many languages do you speak ?
2. Aguero can't speak much English , should Man shity sell Him ? You wouldn't want him at Arsenal ?
3 How Much Spanish can Bale speak ? Should Madrid sell him ?

Language is irrelevant surely.

Personally I am glad he is going to the Spuds, He is a typical Spud signing (player or Manager) the usual "next big thing"
Who will fvuck them up even more than the last 20 Managers they have had :D

He's a quality manager. Southampton have improved drastically after he took over. They're the best pressing side in the league and that is down to him. He's young enough to potentially build a dynasty at the scum. Plus he may get his compatriot Lamela to justify his price tag.

This is not good at all. Why couldn't they re-hire 'Arry ffs?

It won't matter who they appoint until Levy goes.

Build a dynasty at the Scum? Put down the silly juice 1989! We don't want Young Willy creeping back for a third time to declare what a force they're going to be.

Poch does favour a high intensity pressing game, which looked great for the first half of the season, but once the players ran out of energy the Saints season ran out of steam.
The Scum's players don't look like high energy players. I particualarly look forward to Adebarndoor chasing all over the pitch.

Stop, mate. Seriously. He'll be out of the job this time next year. Maybe sooner. TBH he inherited the guts of that Saints side and sold some of the deadwood. Would say he has done as well as most managers would do in the same circumstances. Nothing oustanding really. And if/when he gets to the Scum he will have Poison Danny Levy to deal with, and that little fucker is their greatest handicap. Dynasty? They have been building one of those every season since the world was black and white! :D

As for the speaking English thing; A player not being able to speak much English is one thing, but a manager working with a majority of players that speak English has to also be able to speak English.
