The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

On a more serious note I'd add that "Pochettino's mother is a whore" scans perfectly! :barscarf:

Yes, he can speak English - there's videos on Youtube where he does.

It's actually quite hilarious when you think about it - he just can't be asked to deal with the English press.

But in fairness there were a few Scottish media types who were able to translate him though :barscarf: :barscarf:

I knew you'd think this ! He's the latest 5 minute wonder FFS

What the fuck has he achieved? He got punted from Espanyol leaving them bottom of the fucking league and inherited the best youth set up in English football at Southampton

Honestly, we'll all be pissing ourselves in a few months time

I don't give a fcuk how good a manager or player is, if the c*nt cant speak passable English to the media within 6 months of moving to England then he should be fcuked out of the league on the spot :x If the fcukers cant show enough respect to the country that is paying them a kings ransom in wages then they are no benefit to the game

1. How many languages do you speak ?
2. Aguero can't speak much English , should Man shity sell Him ? You wouldn't want him at Arsenal ?
3 How Much Spanish can Bale speak ? Should Madrid sell him ?

Language is irrelevant surely.

Personally I am glad he is going to the Spuds, He is a typical Spud signing (player or Manager) the usual "next big thing"
Who will fvuck them up even more than the last 20 Managers they have had :D

Happy 26th May :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Firstly I only speak English but cos I am living in an English speaking country that works just fine 8)

Lets be objective here........when an English man moves to Italy (for example) and gets a regular 9-5 job with a Italian company, would you expect him to learn the lingo or would you expect the company to put an translator in place for him ? The problem with the mentality of English (and Irish) people is that, when we go foreign on our holidays we expect the locals to speak our language, but yet when they come over to our countries we make no effort to learn theirs  When you move to a different country you simply have to embrace their culture or else stay at home where your mindset is more suitable

Just one of the many ways in which they've progressed since the Andre Villas-Boas days :barscarf:

Feel sorry for the Saints, they are gong to get stripped bare this summer.

Probably hurt less if they lost their manager to a top club but this is almost a sideways move and they've already knicked their song

AW will be shaking hands with the 15th bringer of failure to head down the swamp.

5 year contract on top of the compo to the Saints, the compo to Timmy, the compo to twitchy and the compo to Ramos. In the last 5 years the money Levy has wasted on managers could have bought them a quality squad for about £100million................. :rubchin:

Never mind

Just keep being the gift that keeps on giving tiny totts, 53 years of failure will be 54 soon no problem

Isn't he just another AVB? With even less experience  Young, foreign, unproven at the top level... That lot have no idea what they want. Sack AVB to basically replace him with an identical clone six months later lol

He's a quality manager. Southampton have improved drastically after he took over. They're the best pressing side in the league and that is down to him. He's young enough to potentially build a dynasty at the scum. Plus he may get his compatriot Lamela to justify his price tag.

This is not good at all. Why couldn't they re-hire 'Arry ffs?
Stop, mate. Seriously. He'll be out of the job this time next year. Maybe sooner. TBH he inherited the guts of that Saints side and sold some of the deadwood. Would say he has done as well as most managers would do in the same circumstances. Nothing oustanding really. And if/when he gets to the Scum he will have Poison Danny Levy to deal with, and that little fucker is their greatest handicap. Dynasty? They have been building one of those every season since the world was black and white! :D

As for the speaking English thing; A player not being able to speak much English is one thing, but a manager working with a majority of players that speak English has to also be able to speak English.
Well your words are comforting. Let's hope you're right. At least we're all united in hoping that he'll be a spectacular failure. :D

Build a dynasty ??!! Don't make me laugh - Levy sees building a dynasty as one year in the Champions League and then firing the manager !

Success isn't coming to Shite Hart Lane

One of their fans was so hurt after we beat Hull that he smeared himself with butter!
Guess he had to have something to do after racially insulting his ex-wife.
Seldom a dull moment with this bloke (well, relative to his being in solitary that is).
