Online ST renewals website down?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Online ST renewals website down?

Post by The Joy of Cesc »

Yes, we are going to renew!

Anyone else having trouble logging onto their useless ST renewals web page? Tried about 5 times, each time got an error message saying there had been an "unexpected error" or something.

Maybe they're referring to accidentally winning a trophy and having to draft a letter informing ST holders that the price increase will actually be 8%? :barscarf:

It wouldn't surprise me!

The whole thing has been a bit of a farce so far. We have two ST's, thought about moving seats, phoned the number we were given on our (one) renewal email, the conversation went something like this:

"Hello, could you tell me how I change my seat?"
"oh, you need to go online and fill in the form, then send us your renewal form back before 1st June"
"Umm, I haven't had a renewal form yet"
"we do have a few to send out. Tell you what, if you've got an old one, tippex out the old price, write the new one in and use that"

So for two season tickets we had one email, no forms (until today) and now the bloody website doesn't work. Bet the phones will be not be working tomorrow either.

You'll get no criticism - from me anyway. I've never owned an ST. Over the last 25+ years of going to games I've bought tickets through the post from the club, bought from touts, rented mates' ST's and used my red membership to buy tickets. I have nothing but respect for the people that commit to an ST every year, no matter what the club is doing to piss them off. 8)

Finally managed to renew at 10 past 10 this morning.

Was just glancing through the leaflet that came with the renewal form - "renew easily online", it says. They're having a laugh!
