Off to the Cup Final!

Good luck to the Arsenal Ladies in their Cup Final today! On BBC2 at 415pm unless you can be bothered to get down there yourselves!

Awaits usual sexist comments but doesnt actually care........ :banner:

Leaving for the game shortly...only 30 mins from here so what better way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon! We're treating it like any other game. Home shirts and even taking our Olney Gooners flag so look out for it on TV...

Over 12500 tickets sold by the time I got ours on Friday and with pay on the gate as well I think it will be close to capacity.

Kind of feel that the ladies deserve our support when they are going through their own rough patch, being as they were the main bright spot in Arsenal's fortunes over the last 9 years :barscarf: !

Hope you enjoyed it Bail and had a great time - have been to 4 or so of these over the years, great for girls playing to get to experience what playing top level football could possibly lead to.

She goes to the same school as my youngest son...they are both in year 13 at Ousedale Secondary School, Newport Pagnell... so she would be 16, maybe 17!

They absolutely bossed the game today. The 2-0 scoreline was no reflection on the game. Hit the woodwork 4 times as well. Good to see just about every gooner in MK turn up for the game as well. And also nice to see the massive Daventry Gooner flag as well. Those guys get everywhere :barscarf: !
