If this is true, then it will be another disgraceful piece of management by Wenker. The only positive will be it won't be allowed to drag on Wenker style, as I'm sure Barca will force him to declare his interest one way or another.
I personally would prefer to see him rot on the Barca bench, but if he is to be sold and we turn down first refusal and allow one of our rivals to acquire a player who i think would be the best midfielder in the premiership next season, then I think that will be a clear indication of Wenkers ambitions for next season.

Too righ Sid, its indefensable if true. :rubchin:

However dont Barca know that the Arsenal fax machine only comes on after the world cup.

FFS seemingly not even a yes no or maybe.

Makes perfect sense for Citeh, in fact why dont Citeh have the whole of our first team squad

Santi C- will be 30 IN December, time to get fresh legs in, we know he will sweat his balls off for us, as before, what on earth is the problem. :box: :box: :box:

A dumba** scum fan on why we should sign Cesc

"Let's be honest, Arsenal dropped very few points to teams worse than them this season. Signing Fabregas is not going to solve the problems that arose in the matches they lost - to teams as/more tecnically able in comparison, where strength in midfield is needed to take the game by the scruff of the neck, or break it up when looking to hold on to a result.

Fabregas wouldn't have stopped them shipping 6 against City and Chelsea. Unless they sign a Matic, a Toure, or even a Ramires/Fernandinho type, they aren't going to pose much of a threat to the title IMO.

Also, Sagna leaving will be a MASSIVE loss. Countless times he whips in an inch-perfect cross spanning about 40 yards and creates something out of nothing. He is a such a reliable crosser (cf. Rose/Walker), and without an exceptional replacement his departure will certainly hinder progress towards a title".

I was taking him seriously till the bit in red. Watch the game you knob, Sagna has one good cross in about 10. Just because Walker/Rose are even more sh*t at it is a reflection on the paucity of decent crossers in your sh**y little team.

Everything else he says is spot on though

Having an enforcer is not some magic solution that will allow us to get away with setting up like a Bangkok whore. Defending is a team job, you can't just drop a more defensive-minded player into our existing set-up and expect miraculous results. Our defensive ethos and entire team shape needs a re-think, not least the roles of all four wide players and personnel combinations in certain situations (e.g. keeping Ozil and Cazorla on for 90 minutes at Villa Park when we were under the cosh).

It is a very pertinent point about our record against lesser teams this year though - our piss-poor effort against the big teams washed over that. It's essential that we keep this up going forward. Our current system clearly works the majority of the team so it's not like it needs to be ditched completely, we just need far more versatility in certain situations.

Its irrational but I just want us to sign Fab so that the other clubs dont. Other than that he isn't what we need and may even be detrimental, because with Fabregas we tend to play tippy tappy congested football.

Cesc was the guy that ensured that tappy tappy ended up in a goal, he would find the through ball that others would not see that led to a chance. The reason why we tappy tappy to oblivion is because, arteta can't pass forwards, Carzola can't spot those passes often enough and Ozil more often than not is playing on different wavelength to his team mates.

Cesc + Pacy forwards = GOALS.

I Don't fancy watching Cesc put through balls on a plate for Aguero / Dzeko for City, SIGN HIM.

Wenger's been trying to copy Spain for years so if we do sign him he'll play as the 'false nine' and that will be the big name striker we've been promised !

The AKBs at that point will remind us all how Henry was once converted into a centre forward

we didnt win anything when we had Fabregas supplying assists to Van Persie so why anyone thinks this will work now with him supplying assists to Giroud is beyond me.

As I've posted before van Judas only had one and a half really good seasons for us - second half of 2010/11 when Fabregas was injured and 2011/12 when Fabregas had gone. Obviously we need to upgrade on Giroud but Fabregas and van Judas never had that much of a link-up.

Cesc is by far the best at defending, Ozil cant try and cant , Santi trys but cant. Its a no brainer surely. What MUST Cesc think as the signs of anyone jumping at The Grove is Zilch.

Too late for him to come now, unless quiet words have taken place, you either jump for Cesc or he goes somewhere he feels he is wanted.

Yet again the stupidity and stubborness of Wenger continues - If Cesc is ours for the signing - due to the contract we did with barcawhores - then he should snap him up !!! - If he doesn't then it is just another example of Wenger not having a fucking scooby. :? :banghead:

Why spend £30m on proven class when you'd still have change from that amount signing super quality Aurier, Remy, Kallstrom, Barry and a shit reserve keeper none of us would have heard of

Now Maureen is in for Cesc.
I would hate to see him in any PL shirt other than ours, but I would really really hate him in chavs blue. Sign him up!

That's because Van Persie was injured for the majority of the time Cesc was here - they were in the same team for 7 years and they rarely played together. It's laughable, really. Pathetic.
