As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Chippy wrote:Why do you guys do this to yourselves. Every transfer window is the same. We'll be linked with hundreds of players mainly by papers trying to sell copies or wums having a laugh on twitter. We will sign a few average players at the end of August, unless ST renewals are slow when we'll get another Ozil type.
That's the whole point though chippy isn't it - most of us "vets" know that le cock wont sign any player of note so for some of our fans to oppose re-signing cesc in the belief that signing top players for other positions should happen first, is ridiculous. We wont sign a javi Martinez. We wont sign a benzema. We def wont sign a casillas. However we know that a cesc wants to sign for us and we know that he would improve our team by at least 10%, so every single Gooner should be behind the idea of signing him if for no other reason than the fact that we wont sign other top players regardless
I didn't know you was a'vet' Augie any chance of taking a decko at my pet tarantula ? - Ever since he heard wenker had signed a new contract he has been in really low spirits
Laurent Koscielny says Arsene Wenger needs to buy at least four new players - including a top-class striker - this summer to make Arsenal genuine title contenders.
"We'll need a goalkeeper, a right-back, a midfielder and a striker," Koscielny told The Associated Press at France's pre-World Cup training camp.
"It's important to have a minimum of these four players so that we'll be better able to challenge over the course of a whole season against teams like Manchester City, Chelsea or [Manchester] United.

QPR striker Loic Remy, 27, wants to join Arsenal more than any other teams interested in signing him. Daily Mirror
I bet to fuck he does, probably because all of the others are clubs like Newcastle or their equivalents in France, Italy and Spain. Only Arsenal could provide M. Average with the opportunity to earn 100k per week playing CL football
