As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

She goes to the same school as my youngest son...they are both in year 13 at Ousedale Secondary School, Newport Pagnell... so she would be 16, maybe 17!
They absolutely bossed the game today. The 2-0 scoreline was no reflection on the game. Hit the woodwork 4 times as well. Good to see just about every gooner in MK turn up for the game as well. And also nice to see the massive Daventry Gooner flag as well. Those guys get everywhere !

Kind of feel that the ladies deserve our support when they are going through their own rough patch, being as they were the main bright spot in Arsenal's fortunes over the last 9 years !
Really mate? You're obviously an enthusiastic guy but I am amazed anyone could see what the women have done as anything at all to do with the club itself. Or take any pleasure or consolation from it.
To me the Arsenal ladies are just girls running round in an Arsenal kit. I see no reason to back them anymore than I would expect to cheer on a snail in a snail race where someone has painted its shell in our colours.
To be honest I still don't think I have got over the moment where the Arsenal ladies Hockey team received an award on the pitch at Highbury. Unless two old biddies called Edna and Enid are interviewed pitch side by Nigel and lauded for their pastry making skills using an Arsenal rolling pin then this will remain the single most absurd thing I have ever witnessed at football.
Without the ladies team the Arsenal trophy cabinet would have looked rather threadbare over the last 8 years we should support them !
Actually I have a deal with the ladies team ,I supply them with fresh knickers for each game and at full time they pop them into a vacuum sealed container.
These are then flown to Japan where I have some 10 Vending machines selling them at 50 quid a pop,the Japanese cant get enough of them !

Did any of you actually watch the match?
I did. Although it might actually have switched over to the Discovery Channel and been footage of monkeys throwing steaming piles of turd at each other. Difficult to tell.
It was a good match, albeit a bit one sided in OUR favour !
Felt a bit strange being in a stadium with no segregation - Arsenal, Everton...male, female!
And methinks the standard of the football on show was far higher than some of you are prepared to admit... They even seemed to understand the offside rule...
