Northern Ireland aren't coming to Brazil

There's a special cream you can buy for that inferiority complex buddy
Do you really give that much of a shit about Interlull football that your feelings have obviously been hurt? Really?

No he doesn't - it is just a bit of banter we have had going recently with Steve o over England's chances in brazil. Mind you the banter will go into overdrive when they beat Italy and the media start talking about the possibility of them bringing the World Cup home - all this will obviously be accompanied by the sun newspaper giving away free bowler hats with st George's flag on the front of them
Whhhoooooooooooooooossssshhhh!!! :D

Norn iron  you know me so well
And as for Ireland, I couldn't bring myself to wish them anything but failure as long as Roy Keane is involved.
As for being bitter, I make no apologies for reveling in Ingerlands world cup defeats, I am a fucking Irishman Steveo, what would you expect me to do  Just the way you or I would revel in tottnumbs defeats, so if that makes us inferior, then I will post you off some of that cream.

The funny thing is I honestly couldn't give a shite about England - well certainly not anywhere near as much as Arsenal. A Gooner defeat leaves me as miserable as fuck for days and I have a self imposed media ban. When England limp out of another tournament, I'm mildly disappointed for a few hours but tend to find that a few beers later I'm over it and looking forward to the resumption of proper football (and all those star players we're about to sign :D )

I just think its hilarious watching you lot get all bent out of shape by the slightest bit of English media optimism and patriotism. I've been in Scotland when they've had big games coming up and a chance to qualify for major tournaments and the media there is 10 times worse........its just that we don't give a bollocks !

I repeat what I said before - 90% of Englishmen think we haven't got a prayer in Brazil.....but it is funny watching the Irish / Scots / Welsh getting wound up by some sort of imaginary sense of expectation. As for revelling in English defeats.......I think it puts you more on a par with Birmingham City, Burnley, Everton or Spuds fans getting all excited over your bigger rival's defeats whilst you've been absolutely fucking hopeless for years !

There is no way that can be aimed at me  As I said previously, I don't really give a flying fcuk either way and am only enjoying the bit of banter with steve o and lefty (until he went into a self imposed exile  ). I'm actually quite impressed with the way woy has gone with young players this time and ditched the old c*nts like scumbag terry and his mobile phone loving judas chav friend

Re my feelings towards our Irish team, I can only echo what sid said about how he turned his back on them the day they let that cork scumbag traitor back into the team and then onto the coaching staff. It's bad enough having a pikey Dublin knacker as captain, but to be coached by a c*nt that turned his back on his country is a fcuking disgrace imo

SteveO judging by the volume and nature of your posts on this thread either you are telling porkies about how much you care about England or your commitment to 'banter' with Home Nations minorities is unprecedented!

The majority of posts on here about English media expectation are from you, you seem to be slightly obsessed with others being slightly obsessed about England

Honestly mate, I couldn't give a flying fuck. I've spent a lot of time working in the other Home Nations and the anti-Ingerlund obsession just amuses me. If the you lot really knew how we felt about our own national team it would probably surprise you !

Reus out of german world cup squad :( That will really hit the hopes of one of my tips to win the thing

Any decent manager with a clue of what his team needs, would be hightailing it out to Dortmund as we speak to get reus signed up before any other big clubs enter the fray - of course we have le cock in charge    :censored:

Reus is a massive loss for Germany.

However, his injury is just one of many reasons to scrape meaningless international friendlies.

England will qualify from this group and are guaranteed to progress beyond the second round. They won't progress much further though.

Oh, and Italy out in the group stage.

Spain to win it. But hoping for Argentina.

I hope we beat Honduras 1-0 and then I can decorate my house in the cross of St George, buy a bowler hat, play the Great Escape, kiss Jimmy Hill's feet......and do anything else I can to feed the Scottish myth

Why waste good football on a meaningless friendly? - we'll take Brazil by storm :barscarf: #believe #three_lions #I_hate_hashtags

Watching the likes of Welbeck, Sturridge and two minute wonder Barkley lumbering around attempting to play like Brazil for the next few weeks is going to be hilarious :barscarf:
