There is no way it is comparable to Madrid selling Ozil, they got top whack for Ozil and had to sell in order to recoup some of the 80m they'd just spunked on Bale. Barca were hawking Cesc to any takers for a quick sale.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy seeing him wearing that shirt but it could turn out for the best in the long run, especially if fan reaction puts pressure on the board and manager not to have a complete brainfart of a transfer window.
Hilarious reading this bullshit. So let's seee hmmm...
Cesc is "done at the top level". Yet Jose doesn't realise this! Better to trust Wenger 's judgment and who wouldn't with top level athletes like KALLSTROM!
That's a new low for the Wenger-lovers.
What else...ah yes "could be for the best". Defo. Cesc is done. Thankfully Arsene gives us Arteta, Rosicky, Diaby and Walcott. All who have better fitness records than Cesc and...ah right.
My fave is " oh Ozil was different". Uh huh. Real ditched Ozil and won the CL. Ozil has been pony for us, he gets booed by his own international fans! But he of course isn't finished.
Yet Cesc, who has an excellent goal assist record for Barca is "finished". Ask a million neutral fans who they'd pick between Cesc and Ozil and tell me how many pick Ozil.
The denial, excuses is embarrassing. Total farce some of you.
A club that counts Diaby, Arteta and Rosicky, Flamini as key players is talking down Fabregas, who has won more than that entire squad put together. What. A. Joke.

The old money "Couldn't afford him " excuse also been hilariously rolled out too I see. Soon enough weather conditions will be blamed...
The proof will be in the pudding but I predict he will be off the pace of the premier league, if that makes me a "Wenger-lover" then you have a very active imagination. Ask yourself this, if Cesc had never played for us and considering the state of our squad would you still want us to sign him? Re-signing Cesc would have been a sentimental move and as far as I'm concerned this shows why fans should never have the final say on transfers.

What SHOULD have happened was offload Cazorla to Athletico for around 22m that it's rumoured they would pay and then buy Cesc......someone who gives 100% every game, works his socks off and scores/makes goals AND tackles back AND leads the team.

But no, we'll stick with continuity because Arseflap Wankchops thinks that builds title winning teams........*unt!!!!!
When Cazorla is having one good game in 6 next season and Cesc is knocking in 15 goals plus for the Chavs, this transfer will be mentioned again!!
I fucking hate Arseole Wonga with far too much passion!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

He really wanted to come back, but arsene has to much faith in ramsey and chamberlain to carry the torch as our central midfield stalwarts for years to come.
my belief is cesc would be the ozil that we wanted to see last season, he would have given us another lift for next season but wenger turned him down out of bitterness; how dare one of his little children abandon him and go to barca?

if he dares moans about top players not being available when we've signed no-one by august i will fucking explode

I sort of think this too, great player but Barcelona wanted rid for a reason and the fact that he went to Chelsea, a club he didnt like to play for a manager he didnt see eye to eye with tells you that he never had the options he had hoped for.

Horrible to see him in that shirt but I think its the best move for us (once the dust settles) at United or City he would be allowed to express himself and they would see the real Cesc, Mourhino will suck the life out of him like he did with Mata and ia slowly trying with Oscar and Hazard, they are flair players but he demands a strong work ethic, Cesc had his standout season when a team was built to set him free, that wont happen at Chelsea and I can see this going wrong for him.

Gutted BUT I would have felt a lot worse if he went to City or United.

Wenger better have a plan up his sleeve or that first home game will be worse than last years opener.

All things are relative. Cesc, who is still a world class player, will make the Chavs stronger, so relatively we will be weaker. Not to mention the gut-renching effect that seeing him in a Chav shirt will have on fans and players alike.

We have plenty of midfield players (mainly oompah-loompahs) but only Rambo who runs past the striker and we all saw what happened to Ozil and the team in general when he got injured. Cesc would have made us significantly stronger.

Selling RvP won Manure the PL- Cesc is the ideal replacement for Lampard.

I've lost respect for Cesc but I can't blame him.

You'd throw a party if the father of one were to die? Why? Because you disagree with how he manages a football team?
