For what it's worth, It was reported that we enquired about Ozil weeks in advance of his transfer. Ancelotti taking over delayed the transfer but it was hardly done on the last day of the window. Ozil had even told team mates days before that he was going to Arsenal.

it was also reported we 'enquired' about Shevchenko when he was tearing it up at AC Milan. I could easily call and 'enquire' about Messi's avilability to play down Hackney marshes with me tonight. What's your point? Oh right ain't got one...
So it's all part of AW's grand masterplan. Ok so tell me, how long did Arsene track Sanogo for then?

I must admit since we signed ozil the quality signings have poured in,the transfer window of January will go down in history as another stroke of genius from our dear leader,the work that goes into signing a player with a fucking broken back in the dying minutes must take months of prepration and wheeling and dealing until finally closing the deal,and to think we fought off completion from.....erm.......umm..... just to get his signature,kiwomya you are a deluded
