I cut out the badge and burned the rest of my 4 month old Ashley cole home shirt, apart from being about £60 down It felt fucking good!Bradywasking wrote:A wise man once said "when you burn a football shirt you are not only burning the name on the back, you are also burning the crest on the front which is far more important"clockender1 wrote:anyone burning his shirt is a dick, end of.
Although in Arsenal's case the cartoonesque crest would probably burn quite easily.

Throwing a party if wenker died (can I go ?) is not the same as wishing him dead
Personally I am willing to accept anything that results in him no longer being a part of our club be that sacked, re-signing, dying or doing jail as some steroid riddled 30 stone c.untbag raping him silly twice a day every day

Honestly, a few people on here need to take a long hard look at themselves. We had one idiot on here hoping Fabregas got stabbed. Because our club decided not to sign him. Pathetic.

In fairness Sid wanted a hanging a few weeks ago too
- I do actually worry that some complete Loony looser of a Gooner will have a go at Cesc with a knife after the stab me if you see me in a Chelsea shirt comment....

But at the end of the day, our 30 years in footie manager didn't want him so that's that, he's free to go wherever he wants and I still love him as a player and don't hold anything against him and anyone who boos him this season quite frankly are fucking idiots.
Boo Wenger, it was his fucking crass decision not to take him back
Just a thought but It may be the case that we have stepped aside for Chelsea to take Fabregas, so that they give us free run on another player? OR maybe that they've agreed to sell us Torres?? Now, i think he would fit into our game beuatifully.
Torres is not a bad player, just at the wrong club. Its quite clear he shouldn't have gone there. It was the owner who bought hm not the manager, much like Shevchenko.
Would have agreed with you up until the last 18 months or so - for me it isn't the not playing well that would put me off signing him, but more the total lack of heart he seems to play with nowadays

I agree that there is a line that should be crossed, but I absolutely hate the "it's only a game/football" saying

I realise that the game we grew up with is no more and I get that it is now a billion pound business, but if the clubs want to view it purely in financial terms then why shouldn't we ? We invest shit load of money (money we probably cant afford) to buy tickets, on travelling expenses, on merchandise for ourselves or our kids etc etc so shouldn't we be entitled to demand more for our buck ? If I pay a chef top dollar to cook me a meal, then I'm damn not gonna accept beans on toast and I certainly wont accept him telling me that I should be grateful for the beans on toast

I have a huge investment in AFC, both in emotional and financial terms, and I'm fcuked if I'm gonna accept my club being run into the ground by some French prick who was fannying about in the French lower leagues and didn't know who AFC were when I first became a Gooner, so it's just a game/football ?? Not for me anyway
Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
I agree that football is more than just a game to everyone on here, but wishing people dead is tooooo far in my book. I have had vehement hatred for players but at the end of the day it doesn't consume my every waking moment.
In Cesc's case he's pissed off to Chelsea, more importantly than that he admitted he came crawling back after jumping ship and we told him to FUCK OFF, my happiness over that outweighs the annoyance at him signing for Chelsea if only because I know 1) most of their fans hate him and 2) given Maureen couldn't manage Mata, a much more flexible player properly and Cesc can only play in one position, it doesnt look good for him.

Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
I'll offer my opinion as a neutral (well, a Manchester United supporter)
I think Arsenal and Wenger are spot-on with this. You already have a midfield, a very good one at that.
Arsenal need a striker, a right back and a central defender? Saying you go for 3 proven World Class options, like you did with Ozil last season - that will be, what, nearly £100 million in transfers?
Fabregas wasn't needed. I feel you are letting sentimentality rule your heads. Although saying that, I'd be PIG SICK if Ronaldo came back to England and joined City. So I do understand your stance.
Arsenal are bigger than Cesc Fabregas. And his stock has fallen A LOT. He's a Roman Ab signing - not Mourinho's. They'll be dramas I reckon when Mourinho prefers Ramires and Matic as the 2 midfielders because Cesc doesn't work hard enough

I've noticed all the AKB wankers are giving Cesc both barrels on Twitter now... well that wasn't expected was it!!!

Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
I find this idea absolutely absurd, even if Chelsea said they'd let us have a free run at a player (which seems incredibly unlikely), can you honestly see someone like Mourinho standing by it once he got what he wanted? No matter how much we hate him or how he does it, he does everything in his power to be successful, which is more than can be said of our manager. And that would include going back on his word to a potential rival club.SPARKSY wrote:Eboue-Why? wrote:That picture of Cesc holding that fucking shitty blue shirt up really did rip my heart out, genuinely upsetting.

In answer to the poll, I don't think we should buy him back plus he's only just signed for Chelsea

Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
Been without internet for weeks and weeks and I miss . . . this. Probably for the best.
The only reason I can think of for Wenger passing on Fab is that he knows he ran him into the ground when he was with us. That, or Wenger has a chip on his shoulder about fab's whole departure.
I still think Fab is better than any of our current crop of midfielders and it is just horrible seeing him holding that despicable shirt but there's bugger all any of us can do about it now.
The old bastard better have a couple of earth-shattering deals in the bag though as compensation, which of course he won't. Cue another pathetic trolley-dash at 23.45 on 31/8.
When will the press get the chance to grill him on this latest strange decision?
