Hmmm...
The player who actually has the coordination to kick a ball and just destroyed Uruguay.

Completely agree with this. With Kallstrom's hollywood passes being pinged 40 yards to Sanogo we can unleash fury not just on Premier league defences but European ones too! Then the World Club Cup can be ours too. I've always wanted to go to that. Will book my ticket to India or Japan following our glorious victory in Berlin. All you wenger haters will eat brick!Henry Norris 1913 wrote:If we can get a permanent deal for kallstrom then he should get his spot and be the playmaker we need.

Hmmmm is correct..One looks comfortable with the ball at his feet and one looks like an elephant on an ice-rink.. Sanogo will never be a top class player, Campbell may never be but is far better equipped to be.VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:Hmmm...

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
A ridiculous question, the answer is obviously Carlos Vela....

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
The only question I have is whether Campbell can do it in the big time - that may sound strange given his world cup performance but he is playing with his countrymen at the height of emotion. I'm not saying there's any reason to doubt he would go well but that is the only question mark - 3 games at a world cup as an underdog whilst impressive does not translate to leading the line for 30+ games at a big club with enormous expectation on young shoulders.
My vote is he will be a star in the next couple of years.
Sanogo seems a good bloke but seriously - he tries hard but he really quite ordinary.

Was just thinking that. I'm also starting to think SSFM is a WUM with stupid statements like those tbh...armchair wrote:Ozil is "a piece of shit"spendsum4uckingmoney wrote:Sanogo is actually rather talented and was instrumental in our FA cup run.

Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
That's like someone asking.......what would you rather have, a broken arm or a broken leg!!
Neither Campbell or Sanogo are good enough for a top team with serious ambition..........but then when did Arsene FC have ambition anyway?

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Bar the Olympiakos v United games last season and the Uruguay - Costa Rica game, how many of you can honestly say you've seen Campbell play properly?
Wenger says he will be back at Arsenal next season but he got 6 goals in 21-odd games last year playing mostly as a winger so nobody can realistically judge how good he is, unless you watched Costa Rica's CONCACAF qualification run.
Now shurrup.

Campbell is our big summer signing

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Even if he doesn't ever play for Arsenal, judging by reports of his performances in the last year or so they'd probably be able to get a decent fee for him. Decent bit of business but not if we don't use the money to strengthen the team...brucegrove wrote:It looks like Campbell is maturing into a fine player. Last night he did the lot- passing, shooting (that won't please AW!), dribbling, work rate - albeit against lacklustre opposition but I still can't really justify the idea of signing a player only to farm him out for THREE years, poss next season too. It means that our coaching staff have never seemingly worked with him to indoctrinate him into AFC's philosophy. Did he really receive high quality training during his year's stint in Greece? Is he even learning English?
Presumably we're largely subsidising his salary. Sanogo is allegedly on £25k a week, is Campbell being paid sth similar? I wonder how AW's Billy Beane economics can justify such an investment and also why the player is loaned abroad when (concerning work permits) he could've played in England last season
Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
We will no doubt sell Cambell to Man City or Chelsea after his Hatrick against England or he will be part of the deal that brings Vela back with Cambell going to Spain and no doubt scoring the winning goal in CL for Madrid in 3 years time !

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Campbell by a mile- Sanogo may come good but definately needs some time with another club to get his legs working in tandem
Think many are being hard on Campbell- from what Ive seen of him he really does have talent, not afraid to pass run or shoot
