It gives them the justification for believing we are as obsessed about them as they are of us. More often than not there really isnt much need to take the piss out of them, they already do a good enough job of it themselves.

i do think the 'since spuds won a trophy " is a bit small time - but "you won the League in the black n white" is not somehow, maybe because it doesn't reflect on us, but it does remind them who they really are - 53 years without a league title, they are on a par with Ipswich - and behind Derby,Villa and Leeds...
