World Cup 2014 Squads and Games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

that Ozil looks quality when he's running at defenders, great first touch and lovely passes. he's in the heart of everything when they give the ball to him quickly on the run isn't he....

is he related to the Ozil guy for us that eventually gets tika taka passes when he's standing still ?

brother, cousin perhaps ?

Being an Arsenal & England fan is so frustrating. Two managers you already know are doomed to fail but no half decent alternatives in sight

Just watched the Argentina-Iran highlights, fuck me they didn't half leak some chances. Great goal from Messi but from there why oh why have they allowed it to shift inside onto his left so easily?

Loved the passion from the Iran players though, genuine devastation every time they missed a chance.

Per wasn't at fault for any of the goals, but it wasn't his best ever game.

The same people that wanted Fat Frank, Cashley and Captain Chav out are now bemoaning the likes of Baines, Jagielka and Hendeson.

We saw a glimpse of our striking options from the bench....Rickie fucking Lambert. Won't be long before the clamour for Defoe starts

Everyone now wants to see Shaw playing at left back but all I see is a massively overhyped kid just like when I look at Barkley. Also where is 'the best prospect I've ever signed' Phil Jones? Other countries have far far better youngsters but they don't have the luxury of being born into a country with such a rich domestic league. if shaw and Barkley were Costa Ricans they'd be unheard of and playing for peanuts
I agree mostly with Barkley but Shaw is super talent and I would be very happy if we signed him. And I know it isn't going to happen.

Excellent result by Nigeria, their keeper(Enyeama) has kept 2 clean sheets including 2 worldie saves in the last 5mins,Bosnia are off home.

He would be excellent competition for Ches but can't see Lille letting him go especially after his record last season off 11 consecutive clean sheets

Every Tottenham player dropped for Belgium as Vermaelen, Fellaini and Mertens come into the line up.
