As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
topgoon wrote:So just to recap, there is no partiality towards Brazil at the WC just Neymar elbows a player only a red card, penalty for Fred falling over his own a*se,an offside in 1st and F**KING 2nd phase but Fred's goal still stands,Fernandinho can kick a Cameroonian players leg, completely missing the ball and it's a throw.
Yep all that sounds pretty legit
Absolutely, hardly unheard of for host nations to get some favourable calls but it's fucking non-stop with Brazil.
Somebody earlier on this thread made the comparison with Newcastle because they're desperate to ram down your throat how much they love their football. Well just like the Barcodes I'd love to see them painfully humiliated and shown up for the team they really are. Hope they get absolutely bum-holed, if the ref had a stinker against them that'd be even better but realistically not going to happen.
Cameroon are the fucking stupidest team at this world cup. And Mong is the stupidest player on the stupidest team at this world cup. How the fuck did Arsene rob £16million off the Whores for this idiot? Seriously. HOW??

Must have been a tax fiddle whereby it worked out more favourably to us to sell Fabregas 16m undervalue and then sell Song 16m overvalue

seconded, he's a talented footballer but he's a sneaky diving little turd that needs an old fashioned defender's tackle from behind on the ankles
I really hate reading stuff like this. Why would you want to see an outrageously talented footballer get "done"?
Call me old school if you like - I admire fantastic skill and fantastic players regardless of who they play for, but this guy is nowhere near that level and is being elevated to god-like status Messi gets a kicking in almost every game but rarely makes anything about it, but this c*nt and the cheating ladyboy c.unt from Portugal, spend most of their time rolling around the ground and screaming fake agony Both of them play for themselves rather than the team and their only glory is personal glory

Your are old school.
I didn't believe the hype about Neymar until this world cup. He has pretty much carried this team. They are pretty average apart from him. Did you watch the game yesterday? Some of the skills he performed were outrageous.
I don't agree that Neymar is playing for himself but if he is, so what? If he played for us and scored that many goals I really woudn't care what his motivation was. He's had a crazy amount of pressure put on him this WC ( as has Messi) and he's making the difference when it counts. I personally can only admire him for that

Ha ha because us not outrageously talented defenders are jealous!!
Because I hate sneaky diving little turd cheats. That's why I hate Suarez and as much as I admire his skill, he is a cheat of the highest ordertoo.
Messi I could watch all day, doesn't roll around, doesn't dive. He plays in a team with players like Suarez but as far as I have seen watching him, he just wants to play and do the best for the team. The likes of Suarez,Ronaldo,Neymar all outrageously talented but will also always be sneaky, diving little turds that you want to see get kicked flying once in a while to give them a REAL reason to roll around
It's indefensible that Foster is starting for England. He shouldn't have even been in the 23. Agree with Stan Collymore, you play for your country when asked, not when it suits you.
Woy playing favorites and playing players that are past it instead of a better, younger option like Forster.
God I should have known better than to try and watch these 2 games at the same time - there are two of the most mind numbing games I have ever seen Cannot understand the lack of energy from a Uruguayan team that needs to win

No one in their midfield has any creative ability. Suarez and Cavani have to do it all.
