Some on here wished Neymar would get maimed because they didn't like his "diving antics". Well there you have it, you've got your wish.gp543 wrote:Neymar out of the World Cup with a fractured vertebrae.
Never like to see a player get seriously hurt. Brazil are still c*nts though.

Absolutely sickening seeing him in agony after that Colombian thug deliberately smashed his knee into his back. Get well soon Neymar, fucking fabulous player.

How many times do you think Wenger said "anti-football" on TF1 last night?
The referees' refusal to give yellow cards or officiate a match impartially winds me up more than anything else. Blatant diving annoys me, but at least the player is doing it for a benefit because it might help them win the match. Referees don't get any benefit from being bent, it's just pure cowardice and this annoys me more than anything.
I just don't want Brazil to win the World Cup. I'd prefer not to see van Judas smugly lifting the trophy aloft as well but tbh as long as Brazil don't win it I'll be content.

1. I dont believe it - fat scolari stated afterwards that he doesnt think that neymar will play
2. If it's true then it serves neymar right - he is a diving cheating c.unt and it's good to see that karma is still alive and well in this world

3. Fat scolari is a fat hypocritical c.unt - he has some cheek claiming that neymar has been targetted by opposition teams, after sending his players out to get rodriguez everytime he went near the ball

Disgusted with Brazil last night. For all the talk about this being the best/most entertaining World Cup ever the sickening reality is Brazil in collusion with FIFA are going to win this. We can only hope that the loss of Neymar and silva will be too much.

Another violent tactic was the 1974 Lions '99 call' - whereby when that was shouted every player would just run and hit the nearest South African to them, with the dual benefit of refusing to be bullied and the referee not being able to identify individual culprits. Worked pretty well as they won the series without any dismissals.augie wrote:mcdowell42 wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ed-3813866

How many times have we seen those tackles in games and how many of those times have we seen it resulting in a broken vertebrae ?

Maybe they implimented the greg williams new orlean saints defensive policy (for those who dont know, williams had a system in new orleans where defensive players received bonuses for hitting opposition players and if they put them out of the game then their bonus was a lot higher
)

As for Neymar - No one wants to see a player 'Maimed' - but as has been clearly stated - The brazil team went out to kick Rodrigues at every opportunity - and the ref was obviously afraid of FIFA to act and referee impartially - Because anyone with an iota of common sense knows full well that Fifa want brazil to win - to justify the competition being held there - In some sick way they think it will somehow justify the deaths of the workers, the violent police action/s against those demonstrating, the corruption of brazilian politicians and government officials, all of whom were given comps - many of which were sold at extortionate amounts of money on the black market.
All the while fifa - a law unto itself and not monitored or answerable to any outside/impartial agency - carry on earning MILLIONS for the likes of Nazi Blatta and his puppets.
It stinks to high heaven.
Fifa is world speak for Corrupt Bunch of Cuntts.

I agree with this. No decline - we've just always been the same.
Need to change our mindset with regards to football - but a change of mindset in society wouldn't go amiss either.

I just don't understand this line of thought. Why on earth is it "karma" that Neymar gets his back smashed into even if indeed he has been a "diving cheating *word censored*"? A lot of players dive and cheat. We've had cheats playing for us. Did you ever wish Pires got maimed for his dive vs Portsmouth?augie wrote:mcdowell42 wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ed-3813866

A player of Neymar's quality getting injured like that is fucking sickening. If you love football surely you can't be happy to see good players getting maimed by talentless scumbags like Zuniga.
And yes it was delibrate. Have a look again:

Not even looking at the ball and then goes on and shoves him down from his neck. Hope FIFA throw the book at this *word censored*.

Surely you can't be happy to see any player get "maimed", regardless of their talent.

From the opposite point of view did anybody else find Mark Lawrenson's anti-diving crusade annoyingly excessive?
Diving winds me up as much as the next bloke but it's like Lawrenson's miniscule brain has finally cottoned onto the general disillusionment with the play-acting in this tournament. There was one incident yesterday where Schweinsteiger headed a bouncing ball and absolutely smashed into Valbuena on the follow-through. Nobody appealed for a foul but it would have flattened a normal size bloke never mind a pint-sized wimp like Valbuena. Yet Lawrenson watched the slow-mo replay and all he could manage was to incredulously mutter "Tell me what is wrong with that?" repeatedly (like for every other foul) even though there was no suggestion by anybody that it was a foul.
If the Brazil game had been on BBC yesterday he'd probably have given Neymar a right bollocking for going down there.
