The cant has the same approach to heading a ball as he does to the transfer windows.
WITH HIS FUCKING EYES CLOSED . CANT.
WENGER OUT
How good is Varane? I've not seen much of him at all but I know he'll be put in the top bracket by many because he plays for Madrid. Had an absolute shocker for the goal against Germany - any defender is capable of making a hash of a clearance or whatever but even at 21 being absolutely bullied by somebody like Hummels (who is hardly a bulldozer) like that is worrying.1989 wrote:Before the WC Kos and Varane were the first choice partnership for France. both Kos and BFG have been poor this world cup - both dropped as starters.mcdowell42 wrote:The same French manager who played the carthorse sakho ahead of kos in yesterday's game, debuchy must be really good.
Don't have the stats on it but I remember that pretty much every rumour I read from Steve Stammers last year were complete and utter bo**ocks. He is an Arsenal man through and through, even more up the club's Arse-nal than John Cross.mcdowell42 wrote:http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... er-3816130
Have you actually watched the games? BFG got dropped because he was hung out to dry against Algeria by his midfielders haring up the pitch and losing the ball. It was a lack of pace and poor tactics that got him dropped, fuck all to do with zonal or man-to-man marking. Deschamps just inexplicably prefers Sakho, it's not that Koscielny has struggled with man-to-man marking.clockender1 wrote:both Kos and BFG have been poor this world cup - both dropped as starters.mcdowell42 wrote:The same French manager who played the carthorse sakho ahead of kos in yesterday's game, debuchy must be really good.
neither have adjusted well back to man-to-man marking from zonal. AS NO NATIONAL TEAM PLAYS ZONAL, ARSENE....
yup. fuckwit wonga ruined them
formidable ? hardly - present for all the big losses weren't they - 6-3, 5-1, 6-0, 4-0 etc etc. ?northbank123 wrote:Have you actually watched the games? The converse side of your argument is that under Wenger (regardless of how much of the credit he deserves) those players have built a formidable partnership whereas in two international squads hardly blessed with defensive talent they are regarded as dispensable.
