I quite like Belgium and the Belgians. Classier folk than the French and Americans.

Did anyone else see Giroud come off the bench and get three (?) offsides and commit a foul yesterday? How's that for a cameo performance?

That's honestly the sort of shit I hear all week in work from people who will happily admit that they have never watched a football match through. Absolute crap mate.

I really am not getting this "greatest World Cup ever" hype.
The Quarter finals this weekend have been utter shit.

I think a lot of the appreciation has been because there has been so much less focus on England and consequently a far less enthusiastic build-up. I have actually enjoyed this WC which I wasn't expecting to but ultimately there were 5 teams in with a shout of winning it at the start and at least 3 if not 4 of those will be in the semi-finals. The constant cheating of various forms and the obvious agenda for trying to foster a Brazil win is pretty sickening. The knockout games have nearly all been dour affairs.

If he was on form he would have bagged a hat-trick in the last 15 minutes alone.

Is this ref looking forward to a brown paper bag from some Asian syndicate later or what ?

Martins Indi has commited 4 yellow card offences, Costa Rica should have had 2 penalties then he gives a freekick for a none existent handball to the Dutch

Obviously it's not the only thing we lack in comparison, but it's one of the biggest imo.
