I don't know too much about Schneiderlin, but whilst Khedira is a good player, from what i have seen of him in the WC so far, is he is NOT the player we need in Mid-field - ie: one who can stop the opposition in their tracks, breaking up play and protecting the back four.

Was impressed when I saw him last year, fair bit more energy about him than Arteta.
In that vid he was very impressive, comfortable on the ball, defensively solid, kept shape / position well and his use of the ball was very decent too - would be very happy with his signing, not a big name player as such but certainly tricky to spell ala Koscielny, Sczezney, so should fit in well
Certainly looks to have more influence on a game than either Arteta or Flamini and with more physical presence and decent pace too.
I would LOVE it if we signed Casillas - great goalie - No doubt Le Cock will give the usual tripe of 'it would kill shez' - the gobby so and so might learn something about goalkeeping and shut the f up instead of gobbing off on twitter etc
