The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Alexis not decided. Tuttosport say meeting on Mond with Juve but they pay less than PL teams. He said no 2 2 go to LFC as part of Suarez deal
Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague
I am convinced that if Arsenal put on the table the money Barcelona want for him, around 30m, Alexis will end up at the Emirates.
Tuttosport is The Sun of Italy. Alexis is a Gooner.
I am also convinced Guillem that you are so full of sh*t,that you get confused when you go for a crap.

Just a thought..if Pigface wants Tommy V so badly, how about we do a swap for the Little Pea (-brained Mexican diver)? Yes i know he's got a sullen (ala Torres) face that even your church-going grandmother would like to kick with her size 5 doctor martin but he's got goals in him, Prem experience, still relatively young. Effectively he'd arrive on a free and alongside Giroud + A.N Sanchez we'd have a pretty good triumvirate (knew i'd fit that word in a sentence one day)

That's more about protecting their rear ends because some high rollers/fools are handing over large sums. Stop getting carried away.

Barcawhores want ratfaced cannibal badly and I can't see Brenda doing a Levy and letting us fund the loss of their best player.

1989 came up with some shit about the Sanchez deal being all over the Chilean press. This is a football website

http://www.ddf.cl/

They haven't updated their story about Sanchez since Friday and it just says we have offered him a good contract and loads of other teams are interested. I am becoming more and more convinced 1989 isn't a gooner.

He's a bit of a flat-track bully. If you are all over the other side and you're looking for a player to pop up in the right place to poke home, he's your man. As an all-round footballer, he is average. He was absolutely useless when Mexico were trying to hold onto the 1-0 against the Dutch. Didn't have the brains or the physicality to hold the ball up/slow the play down and give them a rest, didn't have the movement or the pace to offer the threat on the counter that he should have.

1989 I think you're playing up to the reputation a bit mate, I'm not seeing genuine giddiness and until you start lecturing from your pedestal at any doubters for unfounded pessimism I'm not going to be convinced you're not putting this on
