The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's been an amazing transfer window mate. I won't tell you who we've signed as don't want to ruin the surprise for the first game of the season for you...enjoy the rest of the cricket season.
Thanks mate, it's Messi isn't it :barscarf:
either Messi or some player called Diaby.. I wonder what kind of future he'll have with us? :D

They're going to announce that Diaby has actually managed to get himself off of the treatment table "unaided"  :barscarf:
Now that's a rumour I don't believe. Abou is a perma-crock.
Looks like hes checking out if he still has a leg to stand on

Suarez all but done then.

Barca did the same with Henry's shirts before it was announced. Real did the same with Bale before it was announced.1989 did the same before Higuian was announced :barscarf:

Suarez would be good for Barca. They have missed Villa so badly as he made those runs that Xavi and Iniesta have missed.

Brentford, Barnsley and Palace will be pencilling them in for 2017-18

Yep, that's deffo Suarez, looks like he's already bitten the head off his new teammate and in a show of solidarity to Barca he appears to have bitten his own head off too.....Chielini got off lightly then.

Dippers phoning up TalkSport and claiming Sanchez has no ambition for picking us ahead of them.

Yeah you've got a lot of ambition as shown by the fact you're selling the best striker in the league.

I just realized signing Sanchez will almost certainly mean Caz going. Wenger doesnt put talents on the bench.

Well... We have sold more than our fair share of upper echelon players ourselves; don't think we're in any position to criticize Liverpool for selling a wantaway Suarez, who's banned for four months and is a complete liability.

I think Podolski would / will be the first in queue to leave as Sanchez is a winger.
