Also at what point does Hart stop being a great young keeper who makes a few mistakes and start being an unreliable player with the ability to pull off the odd magnificent save? In the World Cup he looked so fucking jumpy, his concentration and handling are alarming at times. He hasn't turned himself round as he should have.
Argued last season that hart is woefully over-rated and very few agreed with me - you would think that he has everything needed to be a top keeper but for me he hasnt progressed and you have to wonder why. It goes without saying that the media culture in england annoints young players as superstars before they have achieved anything in the game so that, along with the ridiculous wages, probably allows these players to rest on their laurels when they should be developing. I like the recent practice of loaning young english players to foreign clubs - imo they need to be taught a higher level of professionalism then they would see in english clubs plus they should be taught to be more flexible in their play which isnt what happens in the prem league
