World Cup 2014 Squads and Games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Neuer is class but fucking hell all he has to do is tie his laces and the BBC commentary team go into a frenzy.

And in amongst the bum-holing Brazil have still managed a number of clattering tackles through the back, cynical blocks, wild elbows and awful dives. And still no yellows.

Ozils playing crap again.
Pardon me but think the bloke has produced 2 assists and has been involved in all but one of the goals but hey don't let the truth get in the way of a good story

Have to say topgoon, that I thought ozil has been shite and the first five balls kicked to him seen him pulling out of tackles  At this stage I am hoping that he has a blinder in the final in the hope that it might entice a continental club to offer big money for him

True. Anything low and he's all over the shop.

HE has been heavily involved in all their attacks and provides assists.

He hasn't been brilliant but no one has had to be.

Just think it's so easy to keep having a go at him.

Anyway back to Brazil's demise, it's 7

He could score a hattrick and he'd still get grief.

Whether or not you consider Ozil as one of the world's elite midfielders (plenty of Madrid fans, players , managers etc do) , he's undoubtedly one of the top PL midfielders. Saying we should get rid is insane. Madrid didn't want to sell him, they just wanted Bale and thought Isco could do the same job.

The man (ozil) is held to higher standards than most other players and rightly so - he has a talent that is amongst the top 10 in world football but sadly he doesn't show it enough and looks lazy most of the time. Having the talent isn't enough and he just seem like he cares and that is a cardinal sin in my book
