Perhaps some of their scumbags who chanted "Die Glazer Die" when he took over and went and formed their own tin pot little club will celebrate in the same classy way that those bitter Jocks did when Thatcher died !
It would take a matter of seconds to find some cretins on Facebook or Twatter who have never been within 100 miles of Manchester and don't understand the first thing about the financing of a football club who have some very unpleasant comments to make.

As much as I'd like to have seen Ferguson sink, I'm glad it was Moyes who led them to this dreadful season. I'd much rather he copped the abuse than see the return of those fucking green and yellow scarves/moron magnets which strangely enough only seemed to be found after a disappointing season.

Nike just announced that they are cutting all ties with United Next year. Interesting.

they obviously don't think they will get their money back or they think the EPL is no longer good value with Puma outbidding them for us too ?

I did ponder too why - it seems it is their choice to depart, not Utd moving shirt manufacturer through choice ?

United wanted too much money apparently. They'll probably get some record breaking shirt deal thrown at them by someone else.

Based on recent market trends I wouldn't bet against a non-traditional kit manufacturer paying well over the odds for the deal. Warrior at Liverpool, UnderArmour at Spurs, even Puma at Arsenal - these kit manufacturers are willing to pay atrocious amounts for a slice of the cash cow.

One can only hope it's Warrior so they can fuck about with United's kits like they did with Liverpool's.

As I predicted...

---
Manchester United seal £70m-a-year kit deal with Adidas after ending 13 seasons with Nike

Manchester United will confirm a record kit deal of around £70million-a-year with Adidas on Monday afternoon.

The staggering figure is more than double the amount they currently pocket from current partner Nike.

Sportsmail's Charles Sale and Matt Lawton first revealed in May that Adidas were favourites to take over.

They have beaten off competition from US brands Warrior - sponsors of Liverpool - and Under Armour.

The United deal will kick off for the 2015-16 season, with Nike to continue for one more campaign.

The contract is a massive boost for United as they bid to bounce back from failing to qualify for the Champions League.

Nike released a statement last week revealing they had pulled out of negotiations because of the eye-watering figures being demanded.

It brings an end to a 13-year association that United have enjoyed with the sportswear giants after signing a long-term deal with the firm in 2002.

The Nike statement read: ‘Any partnership with a club or federation has to be mutually beneficial and the terms that were on offer for a renewed contract did not represent good value for Nike’s shareholders.

‘We are proud to have partnered with them for the last 12 years and will continue to sponsor the club until the end of the season.

‘Manchester United is a great club with passionate fans. We are proud to have partnered with them for the last 12 years and will continue to sponsor the club until the end of the 2014/15 season.

'Any partnership with a club or federation has to be mutually beneficial and the terms that were on offer for a renewed contract did not represent good value for Nike’s shareholders. We look forward to a successful final season with the club.’
United’s Nike strip for the new season - sponsored by Chevrolet - was officially released last week.

Nike and Adidas are battling for supremacy in the football kit industry, with the American company having made major inroads into a sport that its German rival long dominated.

Good thing about Puma is our deal is it's not a long one like the shit Emirates deal so we won't be falling too far behind.

Clearly being out of the champs league is hitting manure hard  As I have continually said, they are a worldwide brand and playing in the championship for a couple of seasons wouldn't hardly damage their brand :(
