You say that like it is an asset :? Does messi, the portugese ladyboy or any of the other world talents play in the shadows ?
I'm in no way comparing the two in terms of ability, but Dennis Bergkamp sort of played in the shadows, too.

Yeah but only in the sense that he was always moving into space to receive the ball and he wanted it all the time - Bergkamp wanted to be the fulcrum of the team and if he had to kick an opposition player he had no qualms about doing it, whilst ozil would self combust at the thought of physical contact

This is true, he does shirk from contact.

I'm just saying he affects game more subtly - perhaps that's a flaw due to him not being assertive enough, or perhaps that's just his style - but that's what it is.

The Brazilians are clearly shitting themselves at the prospect of their great rivals winning a title on their home patch, but better ask them *word censored* down the lane what that feels like eh? :barscarf:

This is like watching one of our home games against some lower half of the table shite when we are 'leetle bit in the red zone physically'.....side to side and back again, side to side and back again, try a cross, oops lost it.....repeat to death and leave a lone striker up there trying to beat five men

I'm in the red zone watching this shite, the only way to make this tolerable is to add alcohol into the mix. See ya on the other side!

P.S. Did you have the BBQ in my absence? If so hope you didn't singe your pecker on the grill

If the dutch score first then we may as well turn off our tvs and retire for the night - they are playing a keeper, 9 defenders, 0 midfielders and 2 strikers so if they score first they will make no effort to attack afterwards  :x Argies should bring on aguero to give the dutch more problems although they would probably take off the little boy inside and bring on another defender :banghead:

Extremely well done, just like my corpse rotating on the spit :banghead:

I usually favour the dutch (mainly due to Bergkamp) in tournaments but hated the way Robben dived / cheated his way past Mexico.

As Herd's wise guru said, "things change, pants change, but people don't change"
