Arsenal fan hypocrisies

Arsenal fan hypocrisies

Post by spendsum4uckingmoney »

Thread for the hypocrisies you think you see on this forum

Nasri & RVP villanized and Cesc worshiped, despite being far more treacherous.

Arshavin slammed as a flop when he has made more of an impact than Ozil and Podolski combined.

Without doubt the biggest hypocrisy was a poster named spendsum4uckingmoney enthusiastically agreeing with Gary Neville's post-St James' Park analysis that Arsenal's fiscal policy over the last 7 years or so had been spot on.

I never typed any such thing.

I take it you are referring to my thread asking the fans to <shocker>get behind AW to help win the FA cup<shocker>

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=37089&p=892461#p892461
To put my views simply:

Do I agree with the move? Yes, I think it was important for the club.
Do I agree with our financial policies. No.
The praise after the Newc game was because of the FFP rules and the commercial deal that was announced. It wasn't my fault that we got Ozil, who I labelled as a panic signing before anyone else in this forum. You can blame Wenger for that if you want but it doesn't change the situation right now.
Finally, I have stated numerous times that getting rid of Wenger wont miraculously turn the club around. Our physios, coaching team & scouting team are a fucking joke.

I just think the negativity is counter productive when we are still in with a shot of winning the FA cup. I don't want us to blow it for a vendetta against a specialist in mediocrity.

Must say he says it as it is, and is mostly right. Not a bad pundit Neville. Not like jug earred fuck face.

Neville's statement is 100% right. I know many of us are annoyed and stressed at what has happened since the invincibles, but even if we didnt move there would have been no guarentee that we'd be winning things. Just look at Liverfool. They've spent a fortune and for what? They aren't even a UEFA cup team anymore. No new stadium to show for it either.

With the new sponsorship coming in I honestly think we are out of the woods. Austerity is over.

I dont see the contradiction. He is correct for 9m in 10 years qualifying for the CL we have overperformed. That is a fact. It doesn't mean I enjoy our club taking the piss. You also ignore the last line that Neville said, although I think the time was 2008.

Ditto.

He might want to start with the meaning of hypocrisy.
