Puma to make our kits

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm no marketing guru but why the hell would you do a launch at 11pm? It's all a bit meh to be honest.

I have nothing to base this on, like most of the stuff on here atm, but my guess is they're also announcing something that is embargoed until midnight European time.

You've got me intrigued now Sir Chips. Maybe it was worth me camping outside the Armoury since Tuesday after all. :barscarf:

The Nike contract ran out last week as far as I'm aware. All the Nike stuff is down at the stadium and the players are already wearing the Puma gear at training. No idea what the significance of today’s date is or what the midnight thing tonight is all about?

EDIT -

Just checked and Puma became our official sponsors on July 1st

a) It was arranged so that Sanchez could be there

b) It also enables Arsenal's New Kit Launch to be viewed live "Globally"
