The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just like Özil was a "one off" and Sanchez was a pipe dream eh? The cynicism on this forum is simply astonishing.

o come on m8, we've done jack shit in the transfer market till now...and again this is a top signing in isolation, but we need to get the world classs DM then i will have some true optimism... and ideally another backup stiker, gk and cb too.

Don't want the retard anywhere near Arsenal - he really is a fuck up waiting to take a whole load of other people down with him.

Diaby will be like a new signing
I keep hearing about diaby, but as far as I can tell, he never has, or ever will exist

has anyone actually ever seen him and steveo in the same room together? :rubchin:
No that's because SteveO was knelt down in front of him - Knoworrimean!

The more realistic rumours are suggesting - we will sign Debuchy and perhaps Remy...along with a goalie whose name I can't recall....

HOWEVER if we were to make another BIG signing like Khedira or Bender then I really would begin to believe we just might challenge properly for the title....

Sanchez IS a HUGE Boost, but we Definitely need a /Gilberto/Gattuso type in mid-field.

Come on Arsene don't close that cheque book just yet. :barscarf:

More fantastic news:

#MercadoDePases David Ospina está muy cerca de ser nuevo arquero del #Arsenal. pic.twitter.com/2wmiyj98yk

David Ospina, Colombia's number 1, close to joining us.

Szczesny will have a run for his money for the number 1 spot. Ospina was one of the best GK's in the WC for me.

It seems to have come out of the blue - I had almost given up hope of wenger EVER signing a keeper of worth as it (in his terminology) 'kill shez' - Don't get me wrong I REALLY hope its true!
