Wouldn't surprise me, Maureen and that classless scummy club of theirs would buy him and give him ridiculous wages just to stop us strengthening in a key area.

The only problem is, if we switch to Schneiderlin, Ronald Koeman (Saints manager) has just said today that he isn't looking to sell anymore players but to buy some in.

That is probably transfer speak for 'if you want our player ,we will make you pay through the fucking nose', as an example, they are quoting 25million to the victims for Lovren

I would pay a DM 150k per week no probs IF he is the right man for the job and khedira is neither a DM nor the right man for the job. Schweinstiger and Javi Martinez are worth that kind of money for sure, and bender would be worth paying good money for, but if we gave khedira more wonga than genuine talents like ozil and Sanchez then it would be utter madness.

Schneiderlin qualifies as home grown I believe whereas Khedira doesn't . this might have a bearing on the matter and probably where the higher fee is coming from.

Disagree, Schneiderlin is class imo. Was outstanding against us home and away last season. Terrific DM.
