Schweinsteiger was motm by a country mile - he put his body on the line and took some heavy punishment but never wilted at all and I would love to see le cock sign him next week

Giles has just labelled schurrle as brainless on rte - he is so fcuking useless that labelling him as brainless borders on a compliment

He was fuckinn AWESOME - reminded me of the Terry Butcher type spirit.....if Wenger was to be able to sign him...it would be a perfect start to the season.

Dirt cheating *word censored*, and I cast that aspersion across all south american teams, brazil, uruguay etc.

filthy filthy *word censored*.

Oh and get the fuck in :barscarf:
Have they really been that bad? Germany have been quite happy to commit cynical fouls and Muller has feigned heavy contact and injury as he has from the very first game this tournament. The arrogance of this German side repulses me.

And despite the anti-South American sentiment cast your mind back to England's first game alone, every single attacking player was diving.

Class goal, Schurrle has been dreadful but that was absolutely superb play from him and it was a great finish.
I never mentioned England in my post a sfar as I recall but if you don't think that argentina dived and cheated throught that game then you can't know football.

Just look at Schweinsteigers face, Augero should have seen red, let alone a second yellow, a cowardly tackle.

Mascherino should have seen 4 yellows ffs.

Even in the last few minutes 3 argie *word censored* could have been booked for going for the man rather than the ball, all of them cheap cowardly tackles.

I never saw Germans going down and making a meal of tackles ONCE.

They've deserved this World cup without a doubt.

The only player from Argentina I feel sorry for is Messi because he plays the game honestly.

Now I just wanna see maracunta crying and my night is fulfilled :barscarf:

If we knocked on bayerns door it would put them in a dilemma - they invested big money in Martinez but he is behind schweinsteiger in their pecking order so do they stay with their seasoned warrior or start the new phase at Bayern ? For me I would take either as our DM but again we need to ask the question of Bayern and I don't think pep would slam the door on the possibility

Schurrle was awful but that was a great run and cross and it won them the game (although Gotze still had a lot to do).

Schweinsteiger was awesome. Thought Mascherano was also brilliant but his legs were gone towards the end. For another supposed tactical genius I thought Low got things wrong up top tonight, Muller was peripheral and I don't think Klose was worthy of 80 minutes. Thought Ozil was his typical self - not barnstorming but generally recycled the ball very well and a few great touches around the box. He set up two great chances for Kroos but wasting those seemed his only real contributions of note. Neuer is fantastic but what an arrogant prick to go with it, doesn't help that he gets raved about for catching unchallenged crosses or watching balls go out for goal kicks.

On balance probably the right result on the night and over the tournament. I thought Argentina deserved credit for the way they played but they had to score in the 90 minutes really. They ran the channels brilliant to offer an outlet but once Higuain went off they lost the focal point. Might not have been fully fit but Aguero was dire, a player of his ilk should have thrived on the sort of space they had whenever he got on the ball. Messi was slightly underwhelming but most times he got on the ball he took 2 or 3 players out the game, they just didn't work it to him in dangerous areas after the first 30 minutes or so. Not only has he scored spectacular goals this tournament but he has won them games by drawing in several players and offloading for somebody else to score, just didn't have that support tonight.

Agreed and 3 gunners up there jumping up and down with the world cup is pretty pleasing :barscarf:

Poor Argies, they can now get back to trying to get back Las Malvinas.......good luck with that one

Well done to the germans, been the best team overall.

Best player at the tournament is James Rodriguez for me, by a country mile.

Most disappointing team and player Hazard and Belgium, Lukrapku though runs him close.

Best team to watch Colombia all the way.

Worst team Cameroon.

Surprised Poldi didn't try and slip Angela the tongue

Don't know what the surprise is about Germans winning, they've always been good at getting a group of young men well trained and ready to conquer the World with their discipline, efficiency and brilliance :rubchin:

Brazilians tonight are going to be like Scum fans, no glory to celebrate so they'll comfort themselves that at least Argies didn't win...how embarrassing
