The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Rafe Honigstein one of the more reputable journos.

He called Draxler right all along and knew about the Poldi and BFG deals. So fairly reliable.

When you say that he called the draxler deal right all along, does that mean that he said that we weren't gonna sign him when everyone else had us getting him ? :?

I would rather see us sign Lars Bender than Khedira but I guess either player will be an upgrade on Arteta

Seconded, Honigstein is generally a decent barometer for all things German.

I've been fooled so many times by this club that like most of you I'm highly skeptical but I'm starting to get my hopes up despite myself .

I like to think I half half a brain and should be wise to the lies but they fool me time after time and I let them back into my heart like a cuckholded husband .

You ain't the only one mate - That's what love and hope for a football club does to an individual...

I wonder what Roger the Gooner thinks.... :rubchin: :rubchin:

Kroos has officially joined Real Madrid.

I wish we had gone in for him. Very good player.

What has happened to Debuchy, is this still going to happen?
This story has been going for weeks
Has Wenger changed his mind and going to promote Jenko to the first team
As much as I like Jenko, not sure he is good enough for a starter in the first team but
a good squad player.
