The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can anyone find that quote from Rodgers from last season about Spurs? Basically mugged them off for thinkin they could replace a class player like Bale with 5 or 6 squad players and then smugly declared this obviously wouldn't be happening now Suarez had signed a new deal.

I hope Podolski doesn't leave the club. He could be vital next season.

Now we just need the scum to get Kalou and Eto'o and we are safe in the knowledge that we aren't buying sh*te, even if that means we end up buying nobody :(

Plastic tits are gross. They look good but horrible to touch and you're limited in what she'll let you do with them despite the size benefit.

That news is as good as us making a signing - fuck off Remy....another useless *word censored* signed by the Mousers

Now if we could only persuade the c*nts to sign diaby 8) :barscarf:
Abou's going nowhere mate - this is gonna be his season !

Anticipation of the new season is as high as it's ever been tbh. Can't wait to see the Great Man bossing the middle of the park. :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

My 1000th post will be that we signed Khedira/Bender. :barscarf: Followed by NSFW Titties thread
But I've got a feeling this is my last one

Btw good to see Remy going there. Someone snap Balotelli and we are good. Now with Sanchez, we can have him, Theo or Poldi up front, rather than those two. :)
As for Casillas rumours, he's old and pass his best (clearly seen on World cup), yes if he was free and took massive pay cut he would be good backup, but I believe Ospina would be a better option to compete with Scez.

I would trade all our strikers for Sturridge though.

If you include Alexis in that bracket you're off your rocker.

I do think the boy has talent but until last season he wasn't really that effective in the league.

To be honest, he may be attainable.

With the acquisition of Markovic, Lallana, Lambert and possibly Remy, someone has to be dropped spand I don't think any off the players they brought in have gone to sit on the bench.

Podolski? Anyone forget him?

Alexis I consider a winger.

Well you can bet it won't be Sturridge.

Do you really think Lambert - who cost a paltry 4 million quid - is expecting to do anything bar sit on the bench and provide relief when needed?

Sturridge is a nailed on starter - Lallana and Markovich aren't strikers anyway so their respective playing time won't be affected by Sturridge's and vice-versa.

Rodgers is a better manager than Wonga tactically.
