Campbell had a decent year, and a decent WC.

Not enough to be a regular starter. Has to be an option on the bench for 30 minutes or start against Lower teams when we need quick direct play.

If he can get 25 appearances this season and say 8 goals and 3 assists then next year we will see.

Under a competent manager he could be a useful option to prevent Dirty burning out .

If he can light up a cold wet Wednesday night oop Norf in December or January then he is worth a punt.

Who knows with Wonga though - may be he starts him up front with Dirty and Giroud in August while Feo is out.

Sanogo is stealing Gnabrys place IMHO .

i dont why the poll in the 1st place

yaya is a cf. we are lacking in that area. we have only 2

joel is more of a winger. we are loaded in that area

so for me in this present team - yaya >joel

Wenger will probably do something really backwards and loan out Campbell and keep Sonogo.

I guess I'd been watching his identical twin playing upfront on his own for Costa Rica then.

Imagine thinking Sanogo was a footballer, let alone a better one than Campbell.

I remember Nial Quin being Physically Dyslexic bit he got better as he went on in his career ,largely because he had a brain !
Loved him as a person though ,George Graham used to send players down to the Supporters club after matches and after a 2-0 loss to Liverpool at home in which Mt Quinn had a shocker he and another players still came down and went round the Bar talking to people and making them fell important which I thought was very nice !
Its easy when you win but after a loss at home its not ,full marks from me there.

That same kid that, at a tender age, led the line for his underdog country to top the table over Uruguay (with Suarez and Cavani) Italy (with Mario and Immobile) and England.....
The same 'few world cup games' that saw off Greece and only finished with a penalty shoot out loss to the Dutch (who humbled Brazil)...

Sorry, I kind of count those as pretty intense high pressure games. Would anyone suggest Sanogo would have done a similar job in his place?
I honestly can't believe this is open to debate.

Ah we might as well chalk all the Costa Rica starting XI off as proven/experienced pros then

Campbell has certainly shown flashes and is probably worthy of a small opportunity next season based on that, certainly has some things going for him. But let's not pretend that he is any way proven at the top level because Costa Rica had a good run (despite only scoring 4 times in 5 and a bit games).

And as far as I can see only one poster obviously verging on insanity has backed Sanogo ahead of him, I certainly haven't notwithstanding my reluctance to hail him as Jesus Christ reborn.
