Its at times like this when the forum really is worse off without Red Member. With Santos available, Djourou returning from loan and rumours of a return to these shores of Alex Mong, his opinions would be most welcome

i would take chris smalling if the choice was between him and jones, hes a complete donkey at rb because it exposes his glaring weakness which is ability on the ball, at CB hes actually not that bad imo.

Didn't we match Utd bids for both Smalling and Jones to Fulham and Blackburn but got rejected by both in favour of the Mancs ?
