How come he wasn't sent off?
How come he wasn't sent off?
Have anyone saw the tackle or shall i say assualt ronney made in manure's game against blackburn? I can't believe he got only a yellow card..
He was just pissed off he didnt get anything for his dive, not too dissimilar to Adebayors foul on Anderson at Old Trafford. Rooneys was worse though because was higher, but they weren't really dangerous challenges, wrapped his legs round him to bring him down rather than going straight through the player studs up.

Of course he wasnt sent off because he is english and that is the only reason
I seem to remember another england striker (who was eng capt at the time) kick neil lennon straight in the face when lennon was on the ground. Of course miss poppins got away with it at that time cos england were hosting euro 96 two months later and the *word censored* threatened not to play if the fa done him over it
If the fa ever decided to get really serious about tackling racism they could do a lot worse than starting in their own HQ where being english gets you a free pass but otherwise you are fucked

Looked a yellow to me, though Rooney was running the risk of a red.
And Cesc is God, we are definitely on different wavelengths re Martin Taylor, who went into Eduardo with the intent of taking out and intimidating the player. The outcome was just worse than Taylor anticipated. This sweet and innocent Taylor thing is all wrong.

Its all bollocks if you ask me...there's no conspiracy; refs give it as they see it at the time.jacko-arsnl2 wrote:he didnt get sent off because he plays for man utd and as mike said he is a international english player
so is the FAs love child
After all, lets not forget that Hleb was a lucky boy yesterday after he slapped Murty!...well, lucky as long as the disciplinary panel don't get involved

They will look into it if the ref doesn't put it into his report. I can understand why he did it (I DO NOT condone it though), Murty and Bikey committed dozens of dirty niggly little fouls on RVP and Hleb through out the whole game and the ref gave them nothing.
It's just part of the game but it can frustrate the f*ck out of you when you get that extra liittle kick in the back of the ankles every time the ball comes to you...
