Andy Carrol injured again
not arsenal related but still worthy of is own thread i think. this guy should seriously just give up. on his day an effective weapon if you want to play lump and run football, but he's a worse sicknote than darren anderton.
he's going down the kieron dyer route and west ham must be fuming that they signed him.

Re: Andy Carrol injured again
From what I have heard he is more interested in a certain white powder than football anyway. Most of his injuries are probably just bad luck but he looks after his body horrendously for a professional sportsman.
How funny would it be if Fat Sam signs Bendtner as replacement...

think i'm right in saying that he's been arrested 4x for violence against women..not a nice guy. Hamlet as a replacement, on a free, would make a lot of sense for Wham, could see it happening

This post is a bit rich for supporters of a club that still pays Abou Diaby.

Re: Andy Carrol injured again
I don't think the forum owners would appreciate me representing that as fact TL but it is one of those 'rumours' that seems to have an awful lot of conviction. Either way looking at some pictures of him and the comments of ex-coaches, he clearly doesn't take care of himself.
My Shammers mate is now genuinely terrified they're going to sign Nicky B

We rightly can and do take the piss out of other clubs for many things, but surely having a chronically injured player cannot be one of them.DB10GOONER wrote:How so?gp543 wrote:This post is a bit rich for supporters of a club that still pays Abou Diaby.None of us want the fucker picking up £60,000 a week for sitting on his arse.

Re: Andy Carrol injured again
This thread is hardly a piss take, and even if it decends into that diaby is not on 100k a week and hasn't cost us over 1mil per goal!
Re: Andy Carrol injured again
He is "only" 60k and he has cost us more than 1mil per goal if you count a transfer fee and wages. I think a total sum is about 30m and I'm sure he hasn't scored 30 goals.the playing mantis wrote:This thread is hardly a piss take, and even if it decends into that diaby is not on 100k a week and hasn't cost us over 1mil per goal!

He should get on well with Diaby
He only managed 16 minutes last season, i wish i had a job like that, i bet he managed to limp down to the bank every week to collect his 60k.

Re: Andy Carrol injured again
The Diaby situation is highly annoying - although look back to when he was given this bumper contract in Jan 2010 and his appearance stats before then and it's a different picture. Ultimately we panicked after Flamini and started nailing down squad players to long-term deals and it bit us on the arse with Flappy, Bendy and Denilson for a start.
Either way West Ham spent a relative fortune on Carroll and he is taking so much coin off them, it wasn't far off getting them relegated last year and you'd have to be a bit of a miserable bugger not to find this funny.
Us throwin away a 4-goal lead at Newcastle was traumatising but doesn't mean it wouldn't be hilarious if Liverpool or United did the same.

Re: Andy Carrol injured again
No, but rewarding said chronically injured player with improved contract after improved contract is certainly grounds for ridicule.gp543 wrote:We rightly can and do take the piss out of other clubs for many things, but surely having a chronically injured player cannot be one of them.DB10GOONER wrote:How so?gp543 wrote:This post is a bit rich for supporters of a club that still pays Abou Diaby.None of us want the fcuker picking up £60,000 a week for sitting on his arse.
