Tomas Danilevičius ??????? Gonna have to google him !
Aliadere wasn't a bad player and could have been very good but got injured too much too young !

"@TransferNewsCen: OFFICIAL: Switzerland defender Johan Djourou has joined Hamburg from Arsenal on a permanent basis for £2.5million."Herd wrote:The Pravda Website still lists DJourou as our player ,its updated everything including giving Cambell his number 28 and the loan of Jenko .
Yes I know that he was supposed to have gone and he hasnt been in the training camps but if Vermalen leaves I'm dreading he will be drafted in in which case we can kiss our title hopes goodbye !
We cannot let Vermaelen go without replacing him but Johan isnt the man for the Job !

I'll be honest when I saw HostGator appear yesterday I was worried the place might have been sent into meltdown by using re-signing Djourou and Bendtner. Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
People are suddenly judging him against last year's performances rather than what should be expected of an Arsenal striker of his age. He might be marginally less shit than he was last year but he is still so far off where he should be. I personally don't plan on spending the next 3 years praising the bloke every week because he didn't kill anybody with a stray shot or managed to retain possession on a few occasions.Kallstrom29 wrote:Sanogo wastoday

If he was at a Championship club nobody would think twice about signing him, because he'd have a tough enough time trying to prove he is good enough at that level. The reason why we won't loan him out is probably because no half-decent club is going to play him regularly. What has he got that sets him apart from hundreds of other strikers in English football his age? Other than winning the footballing lottery.
I see a lot of people saying things like "he's a handful" or "if he could finish...." - bollocks. He largely makes the right decisions and his movement is useful which are the areas young strikers are often lacking in. He's just shit at just about everything that involves the ball.
He will never ever be good enough for this level, unfortunately it will probably take Wenger 3 or 4 years to reach this conclusion himself.
Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
It's just my opinion but I don't think either of these players is any good.
Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
Regardless of whether you think Campbell is good enough or not (personally I have my doubts), I think today's selection shows where he is rated in le cocks mindset. Even though I don't feel that he is good enough, I still think that he would have done a much, much better job than le postman who is barely good enough to be called average

Re: [POLL] Joel Campbell or Sanogo?
With Campbell, he clearly does have that predatory sharpness about him. Whether its enough to make it as a useful player at this level, I haven't seen enough of him to say. The odds are stacked against him and our 1 up front and persistence with Sanogo don't bode well.
When we talk about having depth I think you need to be realistic about the sort of player you're going to get to be 3rd choice and limited to Beer Cup, injury crises and a few desperate sub appearances. I'm quite happy to give Campbell a go in that capacity this year.
