Re: Puma to make our kits
We learned a few things from the tournament this weekend, one of which was just how good the Puma kits look

I received my blue and yellow polo this morning. Quality is exactly what I would expect of any of the major sports brands. What are some people expecting anyhow
Indeed I have a couple of Ralph Lauren Polo shirts that are not too far away from this. I got what I expected, end of story.

Totally agree ive seen the kits, training tops and polo shirts in my local sports shop and they are as good as anything Nike produced. Standard football gear IMOgreen gooner wrote:I received my blue and yellow polo this morning. Quality is exactly what I would expect of any of the major sports brands. Re: Puma to make our kits
Went to armoury at weekend for a home shirt, wanted mertesacker on back. They had some pre printed named shirts but not one I wanted. Anyway, the numbering on back was in same stuff the fly Emirates logo is printed on as. Asked staff who said that's what they print it with now as they don't use the felt type numbers anymore.
Ordered shirt online and it arrived today with felt name and number. Happy with that, just wondering why shop is using cheap plastic lettering etc if the online orders don't?
Anyway like the kit, badge isn't printed on either like some have said previously. It's like last seasons badge. Sewn on material badge. Wondering why some kits are sold in different spec????

This is weird. I was looking at the home jersey in a sports shop last week and the badge looked like plastic that was printed on or stuck on, didn't look sewn.Poldi's Brother wrote:Went to armoury at weekend for a home shirt, wanted mertesacker on back. Re: Puma to make our kits
its not the same badge and is printed on but it is a slightly raised print giving the impression that it is sewed on.

Re: Puma to make our kits
In theory if you take a shirt to be printed at an AFC club shop they would print with the same names and numbers worn by the players. This used to be felt until the 2013/14 season when it changed to "PS Pro", which is a slightly better quality vinyl than the vinyl printing that you'd get if it was done at somewhere like Sports Direct.Poldi's Brother wrote:Went to armoury at weekend for a home shirt, wanted mertesacker on back. I guess your online order has ended up with felt if they were getting rid of old stock? But technically felt isn't used anymore by the players, I'm surprised your order seems to have slipped the net.
