THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I like the bit where he says

"If you look at a map, the shortest way from Chelsea to Manchester City is not to fly to New York first," .

I must admit I was shocked when I heard Wenger had piped up regarding Man City's possible circumnavigation of the FFP rules.

Because, you know, he never mentions it.

Why not!? - It would keep the media guessing and perhaps really set the rumour mill into overdrive - and keep all the Twatters busy - which in turn would feed McDowells desire to be first in everything - and keep us all highly amused....

Wenger sitting grinning but staying silent raises his eyebrows and then yawning gets up and walks out of the new conference ----- what a feckin' Headline! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Or any question... :rubchin:

Journo: Arsene, what formation are you playing today?
Arsene: If FFP cannot stop Man City from signing Lampard I will play 4-5-1.

Sounds a bit like the way you are following his every utterance on FFP, very much like a dog with a bone.

To be fair Topgoon, it's not difficult: every other word out of his mouth concerns FFP.

Anyway, isn't it time for your daily five knuckle shuffle over Angel Di Maria?
