The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Could be worse mate, you could have suggested Ross McComarck like some American *word censored*...

At least you didn't put forward Billy Davies and Nigel Pearson as potential managers

Supposed to have really blown the shit out of his knee.

Sounds like he would be lucky to play at all this season.

I'd be ok with prompting IM 51 into the squad rather than buying another CB

Arteta being named captain means we are stuck with him for at least a next season. Where else would Wenger play him but at holding mid? Means no fucking holding mid coming then! :banghead:

May as well buy a CB and Cavani and try outscore or opponents.

Peace

Arteta is fine with Rambo alongside him, its when Jack plays with him we lose our pace and directness.

The bigger problem is Caz on the left exposing Gibbs in big games. at least rosicky tracks back. a front six with caz, ozil, arteta and jack doesn't hold up.

caz may be two footed, but neither one runs back. i'd switch Ox over to the left

our middle four should be Ox-tets-Rambo-Dirty, with Ozil and Wally up front.
