Flash I can't see him ever accepting that he's not up to the job. He is here for 3 years, come rain or shine. If we do miss out on CL it will be "first time in X years....".
Yes, of course he would never walk away from a contract - he is too honourable and has too much integrity for that - It has nothing to do with the £8Million a year that is going into his high interest earning Bank Accounts in Switzerland. naaah! money means nothing to Wenger...that's why he is sooo tight with it when it comes to spending it - Even when it is not his!.
I can see it now - 3 years down the road - Arsenal still Trophyless - no Prem Title and No CL - and they have to call in the men in white coats to drag the senile arrogant old fart away.
What makes all this so 'Painful' is that - We (The Arsenal) Actually DO Have the necessary funds to buy the players that are needed in order to make our team "Champions" and he simply will not do it.
All this makes me 'Sad' - I just want him to leave before my sadness is outweighed by my anger and resentment.
When we bought Alexis I was so hopeful that we would go on and buy the other players we all know are needed.....and.......well GroundHog Season is with us yet again.

Totally agree.
We showed against Besiktas that nothing has changed from last season as we struggled against mediocre teams.

Sadly so. I think Sanchez is a great player but better get used to watching him marooned on the wing relying on Giroud for support and an option in the box.
don't want to depress you further mate, but we did ok against mediocre teams last season, and got trounced by the better ones. So this season could in fact be worse.
Someone hoyed a bottle at Wenger after the match had finished. If this was at ours and someone chucked a bottle at Bilic I imagine we'd kicked out of the CL before you could say mental strength.

The French Poodle would have paused just long enough to have a quick celebratory wánk and then promptly banned us and all Ingerlish clubs.
RAmbo Im afraid did pull shirts both times, though TBF the first was in retaliation, and the whistle should have been blown before Rambo did the same..
Shirt pulling is so utterly naff. Video evidence with suspensions would stamp it out within weeks, but as usual I doubt it will happen.
Cannot understand the logic of le cock arguing Ramsey's red card on the basis that the ref let much worse than that go on - maybe he did let worse go on but that is an argument in itself and separate from Ramsey's two yellow cards which were spot on

The referee typically let a lot of fouls slide and forgot he had a yellow card until Bilic went mental at him and undermined him in front of the whole stadium and TV audience, after which he proceeded to book 3 of our players in a short time. Legitimate complaint.
Ramsey cynically pulling back players from behind twice and getting sent off. Not a legitimate complaint. I would have gone ballistic if an opposition player did that twice and got away with it. Absolutely zero arguments from me.
I can also see discipline being an issue this year for our midfield. Flamini miraculously managed to only incur one red card last season but yesterday managed to pick up a yellow in no time in an area of the pitch he should not have been in. Likewise Arteta has resorted to hacking down/hauling back any players that glide past him, which happens quite regularly. As much as we have been on the wrong end of undue leniency for persistent fouling in the past, we'll be relying on it this year with either of those two in the side.
