RIP Thread

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

These people are barbaric and have no concept of the value of human life. The fact that this latest one appears to be British just makes it even more unbelieveable. Whereabouts in the UK are they preaching that this kind of behaviour is acceptable? I shocks me to the core.

Warning, this next bit is so incorrect that I almost offend myself. Unfortunately I have a dark sense of humour at times.

One consoltation for him though was that even after it had been done he was still taller than DB10.

Cruel and tasteless I know, but nevertheless true.
That last bit is poor tbh, mate. It's so low it is beneath even you, it's that low.

that's why I issued the apology beforehand. I'm ashamed of myself for thinking it but I did.

Poor bastard, saw a French journalist on the news who said what a top guy he was, always thinking of others and sharing food etc even in barbaric captive conditions.

But I am going to be heartless and say journalists should not be going out there. Fuck journalistic desire, duty/honour, wanting to show the suffering or whatever. They want to risk their own lives, fine that's up to them. But they're risking the lives of soldiers who are going to be thrown into rescue missions and god knows what other ramifications by being held for ransom for millions and millions. And despite a recent G8 agreement apparently all countries other than UK and US have paid huge sums of ransom money to fund these terrorists and cause exponentially more suffering. They may think it's selfless but not at all to me, it's needless.

Kind of agree with that sentiment.

£20m to save a life that ends up costing more lives as a result of the weapons bought with the money! Doesn't seem right to me.
About 10 years ago I got an offer to go and work in Bahgdad for a British firm. It was £250k per year tax free and there was some temptaion knowing that after 12 months you've probably got no financial worries for the rest of your life. For me it just wasn't worth the risk but there are people out there that would take it for the money. Those that do know that risk and it is literally on their own heads.

RIP Dickie Attenborough. Fantastic in Brighton Rock and The Great Escape, amongst many others.
And the curse of Aaron Ramsey continues. Robin Williams last Sunday as well!

RIP to the nearly 3,000 innocent souls murdered by Al Queada on 9/11. Just people, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhist, Atheists, that went to work to provide for their families and were murdered for a stupid fucking bastardised version of a religion.

Any religion (or version thereof) that preaches hate and intolerance should be outlawed. Religion should serve man and assist him in becoming a better man, not breed and incite hatred and murder. 8)

Can't believe it's been 13 years tbh. :|
